I'm sure someone's already came up with it, but I didn't read it to decide I want to use it.

It's an opinion opener, with built in feedback.

"I'm thinking about changing my facial hair, I need some ideas"

Or you can throw in some C&F

"As damn good as my facial hair looks ;) I want to change it, any ideas?"

comments? I haven't tried it yet, but I plan on it tomorrow.

As with any "opener" - it's all about delivery. This probably wouldn't work in day game on a cold approach either, it's just too abrupt. But, in a bar, in conversation with an HB, it could be a good talking point.

It is hard to come up with your own opener, as most will come across as a modified version of one that people already know of, for example, whenever one like this or one about changing hair comes up I instantly think of the one about dying all the hair blonde.

However, I do like this opener a lot and think it would be effective if put to good use.
