I have been trying to talk to girls on POF now for 2 weeks. The vast majority of girls i message dont reply or even look at my profile. However, going by the old mud slinging addage that some of it will stick, i continued.

A girl replies to my messages but asks no questions. At the moment its just her replying to my small talk and answeing my questions.

Is she not interested and just replying out of politeness?

How is a normal conversation on POF meant to progress into a meet?

Most of my messages get deleted too, which is irritating because I know that half of the girls i've messaged are nothing special at all. I think it's the sheer volume of messages that girls probably receive from sleasy lads which makes things difficult. As much as you try to stand out, it's hard to show this in just one message I think.

I've only ever met up with one girl from POF, whom I did actually f-close, several times. However she lived a fair distance away and for several reasons we stopped talking.. but it goes to show POF can work. Having said that I think that 90% of girls on there are fuck-ups in one way or another, her included.

Regarding your conversation, I dunno, i've had it before where girls just stop replying. It depends on the girl, some seem keen to have long conversations. Some can't really be arsed I find.
