No real tactics or whichever are employed just straight up.

My guess is that it doesn't draw to much of an emotional response from the reader... what do you guys think / lets here some suggestions. Lay it on me

Your profile is boring. (Sorry, but its true).
With online game, the most important thing is standing out from the crowd. You want to embrace your inner quirky sense of humor.

"I'd be in a world of hurt without spellcheck" - That right there was the best thing on your profile. Its a little quirky and funny and on top of that, most people can relate. Really good. But that was the ONLY thing on your page like that.

Also, put a few more pictures of yourself up there. Have yourself surrounded by friends or doing fun things. You don't have to be doing anything super cool, just stuff that shows you get out there and live a life (i.e. hiking, rock climbing or any of that cool stuff in your interests like skydiving, camping etc.)

BTW, I dig the Omerta thing, I'm a huge mafia-nut :)

Yeah I agree with the above. It is a bit bland. Chicks dig humour and guys who love women. And I'm not seeing either of this come through. Also there are no qualifiers but on the bright side you arent kissing ass.

Here's my suggestions that may liven it up a bit.
Quote:
- I like to cook
There's nothing interesting about it its just bland. For a bit more humor try -
I'm mean in the kitchen! (seriously that's where I beat people up)
Quote:
"I'd be in a world of hurt without spellcheck"
Its self deprecating never a good thing unless there is humor involved. Try adding humor or a qualifier instead.

-I'd be in a world of hurt without spiell shlecker +1 point on your hotness scale if you 'dn't type likk dysss'. You were an 8? now you're a 9. not a bad deal if you ask me!

Example of a qualifier

I am looking for a girl that has as much humor and confidence as I do! Please,
If you resemble Chewbacca or something, it probably wouldn't work out for us...

Yeah, that's the vibe I got from writing it... felt more like a resume, which well is pretty much the only writing I do about myself hahaha. Something I need to practice a bit more I suppose.

Most of my my pictures are pretty much all bar scene ones as I don't really snap pictures of what I'm doing. Its usually somebody else (typically female) that is out and about with me. I was thinking about staying away from the barstar vibe... thoughts?

I don't really feel like that comment is viewed as self depreciation though. I was more trying to crack a joke and display that I'm 'down to earth' and just just pumped up on how awesome I am.

But I do see your point, I'll craft something up to put a funny/positive spin on it.

Qualifiers of what I'm looking for are really necessary? I figured that they would be projected though the interaction

EDIT: I've updated the beast, let me know what you think

Yea I don't really think the spell check thing is a self depreciation either, but Mytt8 is definitely right about pretty much everything he said....
Your updated profile is a little better, but I would amp up the humor even more.

I'm noticing a hell of a lot of girls on POF don't even check your profile after you've messaged them...

Dude, hit up preselection, get pics of yourself in big groups of girls or alone with really hot women, it works

I'll put up the ones I have with chicks that are in easy reach. I had them there before and actually got poor feedback

I'm having some success with my POF profile. I'm getting a good response rate from the girls I message, I'm very specific about the kind of girl i want to be with, so i really only focus on my type of girl. But I've been getting a lot of girls cold opening me with the " SO and So Wants to meet you" option. i had three of these in my inbox today, all from girls I never messaged. Of course I'm not interested in these girls. But luckily the girls I message seem to like my profile as well. "One response i got today just said "very confident, I like that". I know it gets said a lot but the photo is really half the battle. The rest is easy . . . Omerta6, you're a good looking dude, so I'd lose the shot with bike and just go for a simple close up( don't smile) you can use the party pics and your bike shot, but keep it simple for your main profile pic.

Also I really think less is more when it comes to filling in all the Interests / hobbies. Just try to be funny what ever you write.
