just made this new opener, it went well in field tests
its not very complexed, but seems to open closed FB profiles
"Nice profile pic, if facebook was a pub I might have actually hit on you :P"

I'm posting a few session, I think they represent my current sticking point - I get flaked before I manage to escalate to a real conversation
how would you play those otherwise?

Use a different opener. As your opener is really no better than "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" type pick up lines.

not the problem, I rarely use the same one, usually refering to the profile itself

Since you are changing up your lines, my guess is that you need to work on your conversation skills. As from the conversations you posts don't seem to be going any where.
