What do you think are the best online dating sites?

POF is a good one. I'm about to sign up for OKcupid. eHarmony is OK, but it's not free. What are your opinions on them?

Honestly, eharmony sucks... major balls.

Unlike other dating sites, you can ONLY communicate with your matches, nobody else. Also, eharmony doesn't do a very good job at deleting inactive profiles - after about a year of inactivity I discovered my account was still getting matches.

Some stats from my experience:
-Maximum "matches" per day: 8
-Average matches per day: 2
-Amount of HB8+ per match: 0.1~0.2
-HB9+ per match: 0.05
-HB10 per match: about the Planck constant
-Amount of inactive users per match: 0.75+

When looking at these stats keep the following in mind.
-I live near a MAJOR US city, so there is no excuse for the low match quantity
-When they asked me how important looks are to me I checked "very important"

So if you want a website that will match you up with a mediocre amount of girls, most of which are ugly - go to eharmony.

I hear ya! How can you beat free? POF and OKcupid are free, so more people join them.
