I registered with an online dating service earlier this summer because they were running some promotion, and I got in touch with several women shortly before I went on vacation.

Basically after 30-40 minutes of conversation, I had enough comfort/rapport for them to give me their addresses so I could 'send them a postcard'. One of the five was nervous about volunteering that much information after that short a time, but I think the key is to just demonstrate that you're not dangerous (and obviously to get them interested in you at the same time).

This can turn into a DHV if you make your own postcards.. I made one of me, my brother and my 4 cousins at some quirky nightclub in St. Thomas. When I got back, each of them was very anxious to meet in person.

After you have their address, they felt comfortable giving me their #'s.. I guess phone numbers are considered less confidential than addresses in most peoples' minds.
