Anyone have any ideas on how to open a girl that has a vague profile (this can be any site). Let's add more fuel to the fire by saying that the pics have little to go by (bedroom selfies).

I tried sarcasm a few times but I'm learning that it's not my style online (I can do this better in person). At the same time I don't want to have my message be too generic.

I would recommend just sending her an honest, appropriate and interesting comment or question. A girl will appreciate this far more than any "line" that you have been thinking of. Believe me, women DO NOT like to be viewed as targets for your little "game".

A line such as, "Hey. I just came across your profile and you look interesting. Tell me what you do with yourself."

Done! That's all that you need to do!

i say "hey poptart" or "hey rockstart" in all of my first messages

generic, simple, fun and gets great response

if you arent getting great responses with those 2 lines then its not the lines - switch up your photos

Go for non-gimmicky, but generic (if there's nothing to go on from profile or pics).

I've had a lot of luck with a simple 3-message open:

1) Hi X!
2) Wow that was a pretty shitty line...
3) Not much for openers. I'm more of a 'hi' guy... You look fun and have a nice smile. What else have you got going for you?

In my experience qualification doesnt really work in online dating, especiall when opening. Definitly doesnt on Tinder. You don't have any value, youre just one of 10 000 pictures they have been looking at. You need to establish something, before you can challenge her. She probably talks to 5 guys at the same time, she isn't gonna really try at the beginning.

I always use something along the lines of: "Hey, we match. I guess that means we should get married" Or a variation of that line.

What I've just wrote works on Tinder. Works for me, anyway... It's been used a number of times - depends on the girl... (It's not my first choice of openers...)

I also completely acknowledge that profile pictures are the deciding factor there... If your photos suck or you're not attractive, you're going to have to try a lot harder and no lines are going to work.

Well she ain't gonna swipe right, if your pictures suck. In any case, at least with Tinder I feel like it doesn't really matter what the line is, as long as she responds. You want to get off the app as soon as possible anyway at set up a meet. Trying to build attraction or rapport that way is kind of pointless anyway.

Ah that's the other part I'm actively trying to work on. I'm trying to get out more and trying to work on all aspects to this.
