Hi,

I noticed that when I talk to people, sometimes, I tend to ask deeper or more personal questions. The purpose being to get to know them better and to see if a real connection is there.

But I noticed that this backfires when you begin to ask too many personal questions that they start getting annoyed. Furthermore, they will even end the conversation.

How can one recover the rapport if this happens? What are some things that you could say or do to change the whole situation around?
