Chatting with this Hb9 online. I messaged her last week and she instantly returned my opener chatting with me through OKC IM. The conversation started out swiftly but quickly dissipated. She was giving one word answers which doesn't necessarily mean she's not interested just that she expects me to do all the work or maybe she doesn't want to keep it online for too long. idk (I've noticed that the hotter the girl the more brief they are with their messages)
So I ended the conversation saying that I would be interested in having drinks with her sometime. (She works for a modeling agency and travels form New York to Miami constantly so she is often very busy.)

I IM'ed her last night and we chatted for a bit. I built some attraction and she asked me if I was still single.

I told her 'maybe'. My attempt at being flirtatiously evasive. But afterwards no response. So she might have fallen asleep, being that she was already in bed. So then I sent another few messages asking her "are you?" then "cause I am"
I think she tried messaging me again because the indicator lit up but there was no message. So I sent her one last message saying that "I think the IM isn't working and we we'll have to transfer over later."

But this girl was definitely showing IOI and I want to continue with her. How should I play this out? Both our conversations were very brief but showed promise and she keeps leaving in the middle of the conversation.

Was the 'maybe' a bit too evasive?
