| I'd been talking to this girl on OKC for a few days, we'd sent like 10 messages each to each other; mostly small talk about a comedian we both liked, music, food, etc. I finally decided to go for it and ask her out. AFTER asking her out, I notice she has her "here for" reason listed as "for new friends." Never noticed this cause she was single, and I usually only scroll down to the bottom of the profile to see a girl's age range, but she's only 2 years younger than me, so I didn't bother. Well, two days later she comes back and says yes. We're going out this weekend, but now I'm not 100% sure she sees this as a date. But why would a single girl go on a dating website, post 3 pictures of herself, and accept an invitation to "take her out to dinner" (my exact words) if she wasn't looking for more than new friends? And I have my reason for being on the website as "short term and long term dating." And she viewed my profile several times, including after we made our date. I should also mention she's only answered 6 questions, one of which was "are you more interested in true love or sex." She answered sex. So is this just a hookup? And if so, why is she going through with the charade of dinner? For the free meal, or just to make sure I'm not a serial killer or something before she takes me back to her place?
