Say you're talking to a girl, she seems interested, but then the chat inexplicably goes quiet (on her end). She could be talking to other guys, or any number of things. Likely you haven't established strong rapport at this point as the two of you just began talking.

So, when she goes quiet do you excuse yourself from the conversation - is it akin to walking away from a girl who starts chatting up a guy outside the bar - ? Or do you keep the chat window open and get on with life hoping she'll respond at some point?

I've had a few convos stall over the past 24 hours with two HB8s. I'm wondering if I'd be better off establishing more rapport via messaging rather than going straight to chat.
