My best friend just edited his facebook from 600 to 80 friends and I'm semi inspired to do the same.
I'm in my mid 20s, moved to a new city, and started at a new college. The vast majority of the people on facebook are from old networks of people I don't see anymore because I got facebook back when it first came out. I'm around 450 right now.
I'm thinking about weeding out the stragglers until i'm at 50-80. Only people i'm close with stay unless they otherwise put up hilarious statuses or for some other reason make me want to keep in touch.
