A few years back, I was experimenting with different profile styles and I experimented with one on POF that yielded shockingly positive results.

The profile was embarrassingly arrogant. As a result I never really followed through on the the women who emailed, but for the two weeks it was up, I received an average of 5-10 unsolicited emails per day; some of whom were legitimately attractive.

Don't message me. Seriously, don't even bother. You won't be able to keep up with me. You'll have to be gorgeous, with a great body; in-shape ( as in you work out), smart, fun, GREAT in bed and know how to rock a dress with a set of heels before I would even consider going out with you. You'll also need to have a dry sarcastic sense of humor, or we would never get along.

Many would message me to tell me off, but the really interesting thing is that they would turn around 180 degrees when I sent out a response. Proof positive that women do not message you for the sake of telling you off. It is almost always a shit test.

Unsolicited email: "You're arrogant. "

Answer: Glad you like it. I like x,y,z from your profile, but you'll have to be more than that. Tell me three things....

Response:
1. I'm fun
2. I'm blah blah
3. etc.


If you're just interested in sex, I recommend giving this approach a shot. Let me know how it goes.

Its not a shit test. Its a knee jerk reaction. Your profile very much invokes emotion to the point that they have to reply to you. A lot of online dating is no more than online marketing. Its all about invoking a reply and interest nothing more.

This is great stuff. I think being forward with your intentions, even if it narrows the number of your results, increases the chances of following through with the girls who do respond.

Thanks, Pharmer! I used a photo of myself with big dark wraparound sunglasses from the neck up so I wasn't recognizable. My tag line was "Don't even try", my user name was GiftedJ.

I would tend to agree, Greg. My guess is that these women would probably be more likely to be open to sleeping with you soon after meeting.

Its interesting, Ju. That's what I thought at first, but 90% of these women would respond positively to my responses.

I bet it has to do with what you reply with. And my guess is you reply as a nice guy not a total a-hole if you will. But because you replied nice (I am assuming you did) they continue to talk to you as your profile also got them hook if you will due to the emotion that it caused in them as it kept you in their minds.

I'm hearing this right? You don't send any emails out, and you were getting emails everyday from girls with this kind of profile and just a photo of you wearing sunglasses? Kinda goes against everything that most guys do, but I guess it is a form of being honest in a profile, although may be construed as deluded

Its seems cool, but like you said you didn't reply back to the women.

If you did you would most likely break frame, which would put women off to this. I am highly suspect to this resulting in dates. I would guess even using this and replying most girls would flake.

With this kind of profile, what kind of message would work to get girls to reply? I would think your messages would have to be in the same frame as the profile or else you would come across as full of shit.

Pretty much tho I would make the messages with at least a sexual undertone if not blat of one.

I did get numbers using this profile. My messages were just as cocky as the profile was. The girls seemed attractive, but as I never met any of them, they could have been dudes pretending to be chicks for all I know.

Follow ups after the second email would tell them that I appreciated x,y,z; that they were off to a good start, and that they should give me their number. I would bust on them and tell them that my expectations were high and that they better not let me down. Most complied-- like in the 70% range.

You should have meet them. There are actual hot girls online you know.

The minute they check out the profile they know what your looking for. Most of the replies so a far are " sorry we don't match, good luck".
For a 1st message I've mostly used:
1-"Cool profile your pics are hot, check out my profile I think you'll like it..."
2-"Whats the kinkiest thing you've done for a guy?"
Should I try using the:
" I would remove that pic in your profile"

You would be better off with using that line compared to what you been using which hurts you more than help you.
