What I really want to do is understand this person she has fairly low confidence issues. We've been friends for a while and I never really saw her in a sexual light because of her religious background. Occasionally she has recommended her friends to me and normally that's a cue to say leave me alone however while we are friends, I generally don't make myself available socially like a Nice Guy loser does. Despite what I said about confidence she tries to be the central figure in the social group and control other women, she is also extremely protective over me even though I wouldn't say I come across as vulnerable.

What's up with that?
