That quote makes no sense because it wasn't Bill Hicks who said it.

Why don't you pursue your own personality instead of hero worshipping these guys? They're all as human as you. Create your own legacy and realise these people are all very ordinary unremarkable guys.

:) Same feeling

Actually, it was Bill Hicks that said that...

“Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Heres Tom with the Weather.”

A sound clip of this is also played in the beginning of the song titled Third Eye by Tool

I'm just sick of people saying "OMG Bill Hicks, such a legend" when he wasn't funny and had that annoying habit of either screaming the punchline to make sure people laughed at his delivery or using over the top extreme language snd situations to get shock laughs, because his jokes sure as hell weren't going to make people laugh.

Even if for argument's sake we agree he wasn't supposed to be a comedian, his philosophy was not at all original nor useful. People just idolise him because he's dead. Or because Tool were hanging off his nuts. I like Tool, but I don't like Bill Hicks.

The guy was anti-establishment for the sake of it, an ordinary wingeing leftist who supported and advocated drink-driving.

Rant over

was everything you ever said correct, 100% beneficial to humanity and can serve as a role model behavior?

I guess no, yet if some guys consider you inspiring and even a legend due to some of your features and the way you impacted their lives whats wrong with it?

If i am to start fault finding with Bill Hicks i am sure i could find more ididiocy and falacy with him than you...because i am a such perfectionist and have a microscope for such things, however i prefer to concentrate on some great and positive influences he has exercised upon me...paradoxically one of such influences is to fuck what the rest think and pursue your own legacy - exactly the thing you are advising me with...

Yeah man! He's almost like a modern day George Carlin. Says all the shit that everyone else is thinking but too afraid to say.
