Hey guys, I'm from the metro DC area and I'm looking for some wings. I'm from the Rockville-Gaithersburg area and need to find some people willing to listen, shoot the sh!t with and actually do this. I've been sarging for a little over a year now and sadly sometimes I go out with my AFC friends. It's sad because they actually SEE my success and have still decided it's too uncomfortable.

My current wing has come a long way, he went from fairly awkward to pretty social BUT he doesn't want to read or learn. He's willing to go out and approach and all but he won't listen to me and usually makes some obvious mistakes that he should've known not to do. It hit me a few weeks ago when we were breaking down our night and I asked him rhetorically what I should've done. He gave me the most AFC answer, one I never would've thought he'd have said.

I lent him a book he never read, I gave him an audio CD that he never listened to and when I tried to show him an .avi(folks it doesn't get any easier than this) he was distracted and txting during it.

I know everyone learns their own way but sometimes it's bad for me because his DLVs can reflect on ME and I become associated to it if you catch my drift. I'm not trying to rag on him but I'm just looking for a more willing learner/listener who's thirsty for this knowledge. I'm not claiming I'm a guru but I want a friend who's motivated enough to take advice as well as give advice too. I'm not necessarily claiming to be a mentor but I have a strong belief we can all learn from each other.
