| Being a tarot reader is a good way to meet people and open sets. If you are good you can even make some money out of it. Everyone wants to know their future, especially women, and many women have a strong interest in things supernatural and New Age. Tarot is a highly portable form of chick crack. If you can carry a deck of cards with you and make use of them, they can give you value and allow you to create multiple emotional states in a target as she receives the news the cards provide.
An experienced tarot reader should have a well-worn deck and know the cards backwards, forwards, and (literally) upside down. There are 78 of them, more than a standard deck of playing cards, and learning all of the traditional interpretations takes time. Expect to spend a few months studying and practicing with the cards before you get good enough to do readings in the field. Even then, do not expect to make money at it if that is one of your goals until you have been doing it regularly for a couple of years.
The interpretation is key, you not only need to know what the each individual card means, but be able to tell the story of a group of cards laid out in a pattern called a “spread” that can be anywhere from two cards to the whole deck. There are lots of different spreads you can learn. The most common is a ten-card “Celtic Cross”. I use a seven-card Star spread. You have to plug the meaning of the individual cards into their positions in the spread to get an interpretation and see how the cards relate to each other. So memorizing the meanings of the cards is just the first step.
A tarot reading can be a little like psychoanalysis. People ask you for advice on things they would never tell anyone else about. Sometimes they do it in front of other people, sometimes they need privacy. A tarot reading is a good way to get someone to bounce out of a noisy venue like a nightclub to go somewhere quieter and more intimate like a cafe. Do it at a party to instantly become the centre of attention. Make sure you do not turn into the proverbial dancing monkey; you are using a skill to help people as well as to entertain them and show higher value. This is a position of trust, make sure you give good advice.
When you nail a reading and the issue a person was asking about was something emotionally loaded, you can get strong reactions. I have done readings that moved girls to tears. I have gotten hugs and kisses just from doing a reading, with almost no flirting or other build-up beforehand. A girl will believe you “get it” if you give her a good enough reading. At one party I was hired to work at by a friend of my one-itis, I number closed a UFC ring girl after she got misty-eyed from a reading I gave her. Now, I did not have the skills to follow up on that and was not sure I wanted to because she was friends with the girl I was crushing on, but it was clear that I had built trust and comfort with her very quickly.
I need to learn to build on that comfort and trust to create arousal, but I can tell you that tarot reading is a very useful skill to have and a great way to open sets. Get a deck with art you like and start reading a few different books on the subject. I recommend anything by Eden Gray to start. You will not regret the time you spend on it.
