So within less than 12 hours of joining this forum and being inspired to try build a small social of willing gamers, I've gone out with two Bournemouth based gents.
So this i suppose is a mini field report post.
Marian emailed me earlier today, following my post, in offer to swap numbers and perhaps get some sarging in. Little did I know he meant tonight! After a small chat and few texts, he told me him and duke would be going to a salsa bar tonight, they've been before and it's a nice place for some casual game. We met in town later and headed to the bar to check it out. Duke met us there later. I soon found out it was actually salsa class and was around 100 odd people there, good ratio of girls. It was a good place to get first anxiety out by dancing around with everyone, people you've never met. After the first half we sat down for a break when a two set came over and sat with us. I began chatting to the more obviously interested girl. She was only a 5 I'd say but it was a nice way to start, there were plenty of IOIs after a whole of small talks and jokes. They both asked whether we would be back next week. I said yes, as we left to continue dancing with other people. I felt I could have most defiantly number closed, but didn't. Whether beceause I felt she was t really my type, or in the event I didn't text her, next week would be awkward and I did t want to feel obliged to start texting her. I don't know prehapw I just didn't want her to say no and me look like a fool Infront of duke and Marian I'd just met. Either way the conversation was defiantly going my way.
Once I continued dancing with a Spanish 6 for 20 mins odd, she seemed quite interested and apparently found me hilarious, however was constrained to her boyfriend who had ever so slyly danced his way towards us the whole time. He amogged me eventually and I had no defence.
Overall was a good night meeting duke and Marian and we plan to do some day game Friday so they can show me how they do.
