Ok, my phone game sucks and I have said as much before. Two or three weeks ago I went out solo to a bar and had a good enough time, talked up a cute girl and got her number as I left. Now I followed that "3 day rule," she couldn't make it when I called to set up a hangout, and after that didn't answer my next call. I figure I didn't build enough attraction initially, and let it go.

Well today for fun I texted a few girls who's numbers I'd gotten recently "you busy Thursday?", then sorta got lost in playing Dead Island (fuck it, I'm not just gonna stare at my phone). And I notice I apparently had gotten a text back from this girl. I will admit, it was not much, just saying "yeah, why's that?" But hell, I figured this girl wasn't even gonna bother saying anything back and it was done. Now, I am thinking why the hell not, let's see what I could do. Before I go about wasting my time I figure I will come here and see.

In a situation similar to mine, would you say there is a way to build up some attraction just over the phone or in texts? Especially after a prolonged period of time where you haven't spoken to the girl at all? I got another number this past weekend so fortunately I don't have to focus too much on either if this is the case.

to answer your question. Yes, you can rebuild attraction.
My suggestions
1.when you are texting girls that you have not been speaking to, text a shitty message, message should itself say that you are not really looking forward to get a reply. Funny-shit type of text, like, "hey if the money doesnt grow on trees, then why banks have so many branches?" make it look a serious text, let them find the joke
an other example would be, "which one is more costly apples or banana?"
2. And as they reply, get into a fun role play related to your text that you sent. Tease them in that roleplay and hit the attraction switches. Congrats you are back gaming.
3. Now if you feel that you wont be able to keep the emotional momentum up and interaction would get boring again(which depends on your skills) then jump into qualification and drill them hard there. And then just game
