Recently I posted a thread titled, 'Natural Game = Laziness'. The basic idea of the post is that game and natural game in particular, can only take you so far without MM techniques/routines/formulas. The post was a strong advocate for MM. But I would now love to share what I believe to be the biggest issue with MM. Telling the truth. It's sad so many of us consider lying to be a normal part of a PU. This is the fundamental question;-

'To be a PU artist with strong game, especially if I'm using MM based techniques, do I have to lie?'

In essence MM teaches that you should tell lots of lies about yourself to get a girl to like you. THIS IS LAME, THIS IS NOT GOOD PU, IT IS DEFINITELY NOT A GOOD LIFE-SKILL AND THIS REALLY SHITS ME! It's actually impossible to have strong inner game, and be congruent with MM based game in its entirety. Why? Because a guy who feels good about himself, who is confident and knows who he is, will feel shit lying to girls to attract them and this incongruency will shine through.

Now there is a way to overcome this problem (as taught by MM) - *loosely* Tell enough lies and your conscience will eventually die, and you won't feel bad lying anymore. Then you'll be congruent' Yeah sure, but you're still a liar.

If you're feeling a little nervous now, then good. Maybe your conscience just regained a slight pulse and you're realizing 'that's me!" then good! We're one step closer to fixing the problem.

Let's say we combined the DNA of my 'Natural Game = Laziness' post, and this post you're reading right now. The essence of it would read something like this;


1. You can't have a complete, solid natural game without MM techniques. You can't employ MM techniques to any success if you're not being natural.

2. If you're using MM and lying, you are not being natural. This means one of two things-

a) Your techniques will fail due to incongruency (unless you lie enough times to become, 'congruent', AKA kill your conscience)
OR
b) You will have very little, (or very unsatisfactory) success.


Just look at Mystery, sooo depressed in The Game. Lying to yourself only works for so long.

MM techniques are solid and I stand by that. I do realize that telling people to use MM without lying is almost an oxymoron. This is where the fusion on natural game and MM game must occur for solid game to be born.

It is possible to think of DHV stories on the spot. Truthful shit that happened to you recently. For example

I #closed a HB 8.5 as she was working in a hot chocolate cafe. I opened her, teased her and then described how I had made my own homemade hot chocolate. I described how heavenly it was. Her eyes glazed over. I was describing cooking a hot chocolate FFS!!

On the spot DHVing is much harder and admittedly more natural type game. See natural game is easy because you just make it up as you go, with no set structure. MM is harder because you have to learn structure and routines. But this hybrid method is hardest because you must know MM structure, techniques, routines (that don't involve lying), however, you must also have a natural game ability to freelance stories and use routines that aren't built around a false you.

In other words, train your brain to think of real life things that happened to you, in real life and share these with your target. Suck her into a reality that ACTUALLY IS YOUR REALITY. Any good story telling chump can lie and lie and get girls to like him, but in the end you won't feel very good because deep down, you always know they don't actually like you

why does everyone hate on MM? it is like the foundation to pretty much all pickup, just about every single pickup style out there has been influenced by MM in some way shape or form, overall, it is just teaching how to be cool enough for 2 days to get laid,

QUALIFICATION/ISOLATION are the biggest tools that anyone could use to step up their game, you have these two things, it is most likely ON (as long as you escalate)

From the other thread: Hmm, I read this all and I was wondering: why does 'natural game' involve the improvising so much? From what I read here and on the other thread, natural game seems more about the making-up-on-the-spot type of stories, rather then simply 'being yourself', meaning 'being the best you can be' (not to be misunderstood for 'doing what feels comfortable', cause that's just depends on what you're used to) and using your own stories from your own experience in your own way, be it canned or made up on the spot. I think that natural game would be more like making your own stories/patterns (beforehand/on the spot: doesn't really matter) and using them.

And to use the music metaphor: We all know that composers like Bach and Mozart are excellent. We can then proceed learning their way of composing (like MM or whatever other method). Others will indeed like the freestyling that's been brought up in the other thread and be fine, but can't we call it natural game if we take a piece of paper for ourselves, draw the five lines on which we can write our song and then go ahead and put in whatever notes we feel like using in our song? Each song will be unique to us and we would still be able to play them off the piece of paper with confidence and congruency.

Just my 2 cents.

I've never looked deeply into MM but from what I've heard it doesn't sound like it'd be up my alley. Too slow paced, too many routines etc. I prefer a hard and fast game.

I'm not a PUA (yet ) but I'm not really an AFC either.

My game at the moment is basically...... indirect opener, rapid kino escalation, once kino has reached a point where you are touching her 100% of the time, then go direct. I'm also finding that negging while rapid kino escalating is risky and can make her break away from you disrupting the kino escalation, the focus should be more on comfort. The only exception would be if she's a HB9 or HB10 then all of a sudden negs are needed.

I've only come up with that formula recently and I've gotten some very fast K-closes and a few F-closes. So far that's the best recipe I've found that works for me. I've been trying to improve it though, been using a more direct openers lately but so far with no success.
