That's the third or fourth time I've seen someone write "defiantly" instead of "definitely." I didn't know it was that common of a spelling error. This is certainly making me reflect on the state of global public education.

Totally hijacking my own thread here, but has anyone else noticed an increasing trend in spelling errors on internet forums and blogs or is it just me? If anyone has any links to research about this I'd be greatly interested.

TBH I think there are so many factors in typing documents on the internet to be aware of when considering why something may be mis-spelt or poorly punctuated, that is highly unlikely that there is a strong causal link between poor education and bad internet grammer and typing, though probably a reasonable correlation.

I would guess it is because of spell checkers being common in web browsers now. For example, if you spell "definantly" wrong it tries to correct it to defiantly rather than definitely

There is no problem. I dated a girl that deliberately screwed a guy that had a reputation as a player because she was sick of being a virgin. Virgins are not always clingy. If this is serious, I do think there needs to be a discussion on purely academic grounds though.

Therefore you must mean that 'if you're a PUA, then don't take her virginity, but if you are not, then do'.

That's fundamentally stupid in so many ways, because you must therefore think the following things:

- a PUA is different from a normal person
- a 'normal person' is more qualified to take a girl's virginity than a PUA

which are two very stupid assumptions.
