I have personally changed my reality. I was once very shy and meek, had bladder shyness, always put myself down in front of women--I'm on the heavy side of life--never spoke up in class, never did much of anything. Then I discovered NLP and through the process of self-hypnosis and babysteps, I've created the personality that I wanted. I walk outside and see a beautiful woman, I start talking to her if I'm interested. I'm running the track and a beautiful woman passes by and I'm talking to her.
I walked into 9 businesses, 6 of which I did not have the degree they said they wanted for the job. They were sales and presentations, and I talked my way into an appointment with the secretaries 7 females 2 males (2 of the secretaries I got numbers from and went out with). I got 5 job offerings. So while the rest of America is struggling to find a job, by sheer force of character (and conversational hypnosis skills, I got job offers I wasn't qualified for). I got to do three sales presentations for car salesman on how to better their sales using body language and NLP language and anchors.
One can easily change their own reality, but it requires babysteps, small conversation, and the such.
You story is mix of mistaking correlation for causation and placebo effect. Keep thinking you changed reality through use of NLP instead of just being more aggressive, which is far more important to sales than a degree. . . All this nonsense gave you was a confidence that you had some upper hand the non-privileged people didn't know about.
It's time to thank it for that ego boost and leave it behind. . . the delusions served their purpose, now get to work on the real matters at hand.
Exactly!!! Its about losing your ego, and formulating a new one which best serves your current goals. Once that mindset is no longer helping you, or you have achieved you ends, destroy that one, n build anew. It is a constant mental evolution where you realize all mindsets are bullshit, so you craft the ones best suited for you at the time. Once it no longer suits you, and more often than not becomes a hinderence to your new goals, destroy that one and build anew. Its about constant mental evolution, while simultaneously realizing the limitations of all mind sets. Once you can at will achieve ego loss, you can literally create a new "self" anytime you need to. You just destroy your entire belief structure n replace it with one best suited to your goals. I personally allow my transformations to play themselves out until they are of no further use, then I discard them and start anew. The real work, is the constant transformation of "self" to serve your highest aspirations. Once you have experienced "no self" you will realize any "self" is a distortion, n if you must distort, distort in a way that allows you to best achieve your goals. When they lo longer do, let go, and create what will serve you better. I am in no way advocating static mindsets. Instead I am advocating the dynamic nature of reality, and advising that all live up to their true potential. Remember "in the dimension of the mind, all is limitless". It truely is what you make of it. So go ky fiends n become the selves you want to be. Once that isn't helping, destroy that self and become the self you want to be and so on and so forth.
