I'm not really sure as to why yet, but from what I've noticed people seem to get crazy when I try to use techniques that I've learned from people like Ross Jeffries, Mystery, Style, David D. and others.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm not really sure as to what as of yet.

I'm trying to balance out both business and the game so that I can be able to turn the game on and off at will both day and night in just about any situation.

The fact that you believe game is something that you can turn on and off is probably your biggest sticking point.

Its about a year since I discovered PU, recently I discovered that Im begining to think like a PUA, last week my little brother had a few friends over for drinks I said to myself theres a 2 set talking, 5set by the table playing drinking games and another 3set outside smoking, while playing assasin creed two (if youve played the game you might now what Im talking about) theres different numbers of people talking amongst each other in the game and you can approach them to hide from the guards I saw them as sets, I also thought about how I would approach each set as my disguise to hide from the guards as I walk the streets.

@ OP: Mindless is right, "game" shouldn't be something you turn on or off. Ideally, it should help you adopt certain universally appealing characteristics. From the sounds of it, you have not done so and are still faking it with the help of material. If that disparity shows, it's no surprise people react strangely. One word of warning: be very attuned to the effects you have on people in professional settings. I adopt a more humble and asexual persona at work.

@ Dilaks: That may be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. You think about video games in PUA talk? While I see the use of some terms and do use them in conversations with my PUA friends as an efficient abbreviation of certain concepts, I would caution you against getting too hung up on lingo. Other than shorthand in a forum, maybe conversation, what do all those terms really do? Make the guru's book sound cooler, because it has "specialized terminology"? Make you sound like a creep to everybody else?

Lingo is a type of swag, it shows your character and your sub culture. Just like the way you wear your clothes like baggy jeans could mean your into hip hop and skinny jeans could mean your emo etc... lingo is just words if they dont understand thats because they are on a different boat.

I believe studying PUA is more then just the art of picking up women, it is a way to improve yourself and your social skills. The whole video game is just how I used my imagination, if the game is actuall reality, what if I the streets are real etc... Mystery mentioned every situations such as clubs, pubs, bars, strip club etc.. is just a different level of the game
