.. Suddenly the bus stops to pick up a passanger, you see a old man entering and behind him a drop-dead gorguous girl. Exactly the girl what you think about every day, your dreamgirl.. You try to make eye-contact, but she unfortunatly didin't notice you

.. What a bummer.

.. To your suprise/luck she sits exactly to the seat behind you. Your mind is running overtime "She is sitting behind me, YES!" "This way she is easier to approach".. "But, uuuh, how?"

.. Suddenly you get this feeling, the feeling in your stomach, you keep feeling it EVERYTIME you think about standing up and sitting next to her and talking/getting to know her. Its a good feeling, but you JUST, CANT, STAND, UP, not because of the feeling you keep getting, but because you just CANT, for some reason! You damn yourself and tell yourself what a failure you are, but again you think about standing up, you get 'the feeling' again and.. Suddenly you think "Fuck it"

.. Stand up.. you say to her "I'm sitting here" while your smiling and pointing to the chair next to her.

Suddenly, ALL the feelings you had before dropped, your asked her where she's headed and you have the best conversation ever, you exchange numbers and your meeting up with her next week

Now if this is with a girl, or with the most hardcore-gothic-guy youve ever seen, which I had, you will always have this feeling.

I approached the most hardcore-gothic-guy and asked him about his style and we just talked about identity, socilizing, cultures and stuff!.. I thought this guy was fuckin ignorant! We even had laughs!

I have learned that 'The feeling' is always there, which most of you all understand as AA. But HOW and WHY does 'The feeling' stop you of making another friend or having the best convo ever?!

You paint a great picture, one that I'm very familiar with as I take the bus to college.

To answer your above question. It all extends back to the times we were living in tribes. There were roughly only 50'000 people living on the planet, and if a guy approached the wrong woman, whether she be involved with someone or in a close social circle with the leader of a tribe, that said man would have his head smashed in and would be killed, JUST because he approached a girl.

This happened so often, that we developed a brain circuit to feel fear when walking up, and talking to someone knew. It evolved to protect us, unfortunately, in this day and age our brain circuit, and our evolution is outdated for the world that we live in, so we still feel this fear when approaching.

Woman have the same evolutionary circuit for having sex, which is why we sometimes have to deal with Last Minute Resistance.

idk about the validity of this 50000yo information, but yeah, whether you do it or not depends solely on you. "AA will always be there, Act anyways"-Zan Perrion about AA.-sums up my opinion on this topic.

It's actually a great way of showing how you can surpass 'AA'. Remember that actually every person is 'a target.' And it doesn't resolve on pickung up women, it revolves on developping your social skills.

I do it too, before I go out or just on the streets, address random people. It does help you a lot more then when you only focus on girls. That's why they invented... The newbie mission!
