Naturally, I am the kind of person that looks for the slightest facial expressions, the slightest gestures, anything at all to try to read the person. To an extent this is a good thing, however, over the long run I've realizes, I just end up overanalyzing everything.

There is nothing worse than sitting there and thinking, "why did she end the conversation so abruptly" or "why was her body slightly moved to a different angle than the angle which it should be" etc etc. Ultimately you will just drive yourself insane from it so the best thing to do is just go with the flow. Stop trying to pretend like you're a master mind reader because girls are so damn confusing that it is just a waste of energy trying to predict or read them.

For example, recently, I was in the dining hall in my college, and decided to just come up to this one girl that I have been wanting to get to know and ask her out for coffee, and so I did, and it seemed like she was almost taken aback that someone had the balls to ask her out, but she said yes and I got her number. (This girl is a solid 9)

After 5 minutes of the interaction, I was on top of the world. After 2 hours I was in the slums because I was seriously trying to analyze about WHY she gave me her number, what if she gave it to me because she was too nice to say no, what if she gave me the wrong number, what if , what if , what if. Who the fuck cares? Today I finally decided to call her because I had a busy weekend, and it was in fact her number, she picked up, and we scheduled to meet. Whether she'll flake or the meetup goes wrong is another story.

All you have to do, is just accept the fact that you have no control over some things and just be the best you can be. One thing that I like to do is pretend girls are cats. I love animals and I have a cat at home, so whenever I want to play with the cat I'll just come up to it and pet it without wondering whether the cat will like it or not. I'll piss it off a little because its fun. Sure its an animal, but honestly what's the difference about how you should approach one against the other? The fact that a girl can bruise your ego? Then perhaps you should let go of your ego...but that should be for another post.

In conclusion, what I'm saying is, just stop thinking, or train yourself to stop thinking, and relax. Stay in the moment, and forget about trying to read the little stupid things. It will help you out a lot in the long run.
