And, in field, I've been experimenting with different ways to put myself into a powerful sexual state when talking with girls. One way involves controlling my breathing, drawing long, slow breaths in and out of my nose. So it was a funny coincidence when I just came across these lines:
"You begin by breath control, by breathing to certain paces, and the breath is very curious.… The notion is that emotion and feeling and state of mind are related to breath. When you are at rest, the breathing is in a nice, even order. When you are stirred with shock, the breathing changes. With passion the breathing changes. Change the breathing, and you change the state." --Joseph Campbell
Feel free to post either reactions to this idea or effective sexual-state triggers you've discovered.

Only recently did I get MA instruction that heavily emphasized breath control, and I had a falling out with the instructor, so it hasn't been on my mind. I tend to use it when I'm running with my dog.
