I've been thinking for a while about the dead giveaways that you're an AFC. Some of the personal shit we keep on us can either make us cool or tools and while we all probably have mobile phones, what's your ringtone? Like, really. Mission Impossible theme tune? Britney's "Womaniser"?

I keep my phone on vibrate. In my opinion, there's something to be said about a rAFC or PUA not having a loud ringtone. I just don't know what it is though and would like to hear your thoughts.

How about you - what's your ringtone for? Sarging? DLV?

I have mine on vibrate most of the time

but officially its set to the beginning of "Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too" by Say Anything since the song starts with a phone ringing and heads into music soon after.

Here is a hint: Use whatever ringtone YOU want. Know what? It does matter what ringtone you use. Being fake and creating the personality of a horny young boy will only chase people away from you. That is why you guys follow the lead of a feminine dude who wears a furry hat and makeup. The sexiest thing on earth for girls outside of money is real confidence. Real confidence can't be faked. Real confidence comes from eliminating your personality and ego. When you get the balls to do that you are left with the real you. The real you doesn't copy or try. The real you flows naturally. No pickup guides, no questions, and no trying. That will be a person that nobody recognizes, but that most people will want to get to know. Even if that means having an "AFC" ringtone.

Pardon my asking, I was being an asshole and sorry I hurt your feelings. Thanks for your answer, though. It’s exactly what I was looking for – an opinion on whether its AFC or not to have a silly ringtone.

It's not a DLV if you ringtone on your phone is "Raining Men." Although, that would be a bit awkward. So many guys get into the debate of DLV or DHV for some many little things and are so sensitive to value shifts.

It doesn't matter. I've seen guys with bright pink phones get the girl! Don't read too much into that stuff. If you're confident and like your pink phone with it's raining men ringtone, who cares

I think a lot of people are over thinking this stuff, you chose the ringtone because you like it and if someone wants to change what they like to be perceived as higher value, so be it but I just think it is an odd concept. All this talk of ringtones, taste and value remind me of Adorno, which to be honest I find a little terrifying.

Guys, come on! It is not important... I have a really old phone that I got from a girl... special girl... Whenever people ask me why I have that old crappy shit with that lame old signal I do not know why I should even bother to reply.

It is a PHONE! I use it to call people and to text them. It is a way to communicate, I do not care how it looks or how cool it is. The cool thing about it is what numbers I got in it.

I had Britney Spears for a while and had a great laugh with it. I also had 'big balls' by ACDC. Now I have it on vibrate for practical purposes.

I Smell Pussy instrumental for some. lol, ya... For most tho, its just a sonar ping. I have to admit, I do have a pet-peeve when it comes to ring tones that are too loud and startling. Its like "Really dude? or chick?" Just goes to show how fucking shallow I am tho.
