The basic needs of a human being are (according to Maslow) physiological. food, water, sex. (anything that will keep you alive, sex is debatable)

For a guy. The gameplan usually involves getting her in bed asap and bond afterwards. It's pretty straight forward.

Process repeats itself over throughout life.
It's a very basic scheme. I like to keep things simple.

For a girl, it's a bit different. It is emotional connection over a sexual one.
She will keep you chasing, and if you stick to her agenda, you will be rewarded on your own terms.

What need to be said is that both are extreme.

This whole thing can be explained through an evolutionary basis.
For a guy it's important he has children. So he fucks. Which results in little people (often referred as babies) which extends his lineage and his contribution to the gene pool.
For a girl it's important that she is protected, she is physically weaker than the guy.
She ties the guy to him with an emotional bond, making sure he will stick instead of fucking a bunch of other girls.
