yesterday i used the "think about a number from 1 to 10" routine 4 or 5 times on girls. The time it worked the girl just started screaming completely amazed, and from then it just went wonderful!
Pablo: think fast about a number from 1 to 10.
HB9: alright
Pablo: is it 7?
HB9: (truly astonished) WOW!! I can't believe it!! I was thinking number 8 but 7 was actually the first number that came to my mind! How could you've done that!!?? Wait, that's probalby the number every girl picks!
Pablo: well, are you like all other girls?

However, all the other times it failed, my game went down. What would you say in that situation?
Do you really think girls tend to pick 7? yesterday i got number 8 two times, and only one 7...

This is what I do when the number game fails:

When she picks some other random number, pretend to be surprised and then give her this look like "Ahhh...interesting."

Then tell her something like this: "The thing is, studies have shown that when you have someone pick a random b/w 1-10, 70% of the time they will pick number seven etc. etc. etc. But you didn't. You know what that tells me?"

Her: "No. What?"

Me: "It tells me that you are an outside-the-box thinker. You are hardwired a little different than other girls. That is very good. Hmmmm...now I am intrigued. Okay, let's try something else..."

See what we did? We 1) salvaged a failed number game, 2) gave her a small compliment, 3) reminded her that she is supposed to be impressing us ("Hmmmm...now I am intrigued"), not the other way around, and 4) sets us up for our next routine.

Pretty simple, huh?

There`s actually a bunch of ways to deflect that. As long as you stay congruent, you can do anything and get away with it. If you mess up, girls obviously know that you will somehow change the subject. They know that you are in a tough spot. They just want to see how you will react under that pressure.

“Honestly, it was a guess, most people I`ve asked in the past have said the number 7. Isn`t that weird?“

Then change the subject. It`s all about having a solid inner game and not getting shook by something trivial. You win the girl with what you subcommunicate, not what you verbally say.

i knew a magician that used to do it differently..

he would write "7" on a sheet of paper and fold it..

Then he would say, think of a number from 1 to 10.

If they named something lower than 7, he would say think of a number from 1 to 5 and add it to the first number. If it was more than 7 he would do the opposite... So that was he would have a higher probability of getting..

OR you can buy a Thumb Writer or Swami Gimmick for about 10 bucks and say "Think of a number between 1 and 1000... and nail it everytime

Here's how it goes.

The number guessing game is composed of two games.

1. Think of a number between 1-10, if she chooses 7 you're sorted, game over

2. If she chooses anything else, then ask her to multiply the number by 9.
NB: It has to seem natural that you did not guess incorrectly you were just joking.
Any number between 1-10, multiplied by 9 and add the two numbers will always end up at 9.
1 x 9 = 9 => 0 + 9 = 9
2 x 9 = 18 => 8 + 1 = 9
3 x 9 = 27 => 2 + 7 = 9
4 x 9 = 36 => 3 + 6 = 9
5 x 9 = 45 => 4 + 5 = 9

Well mate you probably did something wrong you have to like use body language aswell when you say that, like think of a number between 1-10 and make a hand geasture like |-----------Hand----| then rapidly say the first one that pops into your head.

Also, if you're wearing the glasses, you can get out of it easily (if it fucks up because, lets say, girl can't count).

PUA: I said it is hard. It requires special training. I went for it once, on a small little farm...

and make up some interesting DHV story about a little farm, signs on the fields, and some guy who invented "The Glasses" to prove others that aliens kidnapped him.

I know, my first post on here and I'm bumping a really old thread. Please, let me know if that's not OK by the forum policy. However, this thread is the reason why I found this forum, so thought I might share what came to mind when I read it.

I'm from Sweden, and in Swedish the words for "six" and "sex" are the same. That calls for some really old jokes such as "group six" = "group sex", "six addicts" = "sex addicts" and so on. Yeah, boring as hell.. However:

When I fail the number guessing routine and the girl lets me know that she thought of the number six, I often give her a slug smile and say something like "oh, yeah, I knew you would think of sex when I approached you, but I figured you'd switch to either 5 or 7 just to not make it so obvious. I'm really glad you didn't though, as it shows that you're very direct and comfortable with expressing your inner thoughts."

And sometimes I just go with the softer approach of telling her something like "Interesting, most people would think of 6, but then switch to something else because they don't wanna give the impression of thinking of sex. However, the fact that you didn't switch tells me that you are very confident."

I haven't really been thinking about what to do when she tells me another number, I guess I just laugh about it or tell her that most people would think of seven, then just change the subject.

I like to combine this routine with a trial of roshambo (they most likely pick scissors, so go with rock). If I succeed with both the seven and the rock, I'd go on by saying something like "you're like an open book to me" and move on to the cube or something like that.

The fact that this is your thinking suggests that their are more important issues that are fucking your game up.
