What is the experiment?
I work in a village shop (and get very bored) so i decided to try a social experiment. I wanted to see how many non verbal IOI's (indicators of interest) i got from random people that came in the shop. The controlls in this experiment were - no prolonged conversation, only politeness and the neccesary amount of speaking. The participants were completly random depending on who came in the shop.

The IOI's
The two IOI's that came up were touching hair and speaking in a higher pitched voice. For new people in the game let me explain how these indicate that a girl is interested in you...

No.1
Women touching their hair. When a woman touches her hair its an indication that they want grooming, we have came up with this theory from evolution and watching animals with the same behaviour. It is a very basic instinct, because of this most women do not know they do it.

No.2
A higher pitched voice from normal, i noticed this in a couple cases because of there natural voice changing to a higher tone or pitch as they started talking to me. This is an IOI because a higher pitched voice means higher oestrogen which means higher fertility which would make a woman appear more attractive to the opposite sex (she is trying to make herself more attractive to you, or perhaps indicate she is ready for mating or fertile), the opposite is true for men (lower pitch voice = higher testosterone = higher fertility).

So what were the results?
The sample size was approx 220 unique customers (give or take 10) and assuming that half that sample size is female and half is male, 110 females. I got IOI's from exactly 11 women without giving any value or taking any value, demonstrating intrest or dislike, using any kino (apart from taking change from their hand) well you get the idea - no external influences, only face value.

What do you look like though?
I have never had anyone tell me im attractive before. So i can only assume im average looking, i had a shave, washed myself and put on new clothes before doing this experiment. However There is one factor that may have been to my favour and that would be my height which is 6ft 4. I am a little above average in the strength department but im not skinny enough for my muscles to have a major influence on how people perceive me - my body fat is around 12-16%. I have decent body language and have a deep voice which may also help (but anyone can get these). Pretty average right?

Conclusion?
With a little bit of certainty we can say average looking people will get immidate interest from women 10% of the time, however their are some factors that are concerning me - some women may not express their intrerest non verbally and keep it to themselfs and some women may have nervous ticks - hopefully this would ballance out though keeping the percentage around 9-11%.

My personal thoughts:
What are the possible implications of this experiment result though? Does this mean that 10% of women would sleep with me, aslong as i dont do something to lower my value? This percentage is way higher than expected and should be greated by newbies as good news knowing that 10% of women are instantly attracted to you. If your getting a lower sucess rate in clubs for pulls you must be doing something wrong? These are a few questions im asking myself, the percentages no doubt vary slightly with each person[/i]

To be honest, I'm not sure what the value of the experiment is, besides the results being interesting. Perhaps it's encouraging to some people? I know some people recently have been asking if everyone can get a girlfriend or if they specifically are doomed... so knowing that 10% without any DHV will be attracted could be comforting.

Cool experiment. Though maybe next time, try doing subtle changes in body language, or different speaking patterns, and suchlike.

To add an extra side note on this no males gave any types of IOI's to me (thank god) but this supports the theories people have made about these being signs of attraction.

There were 9 women who played with their hair and 2 who spoke in higher voices.

The age of people in my shop is about 50% 41+, 30% 20-40, 20% 0-19.
Most IOI's came from people closest to my age, only one IOI from 41+.

Should also mention im 16.

Could this age thing also mean that you should get a even higher success rate with a group of people your age?

I do plan to do this experiment again as im often bored at work any suggestions on exactly what could bring some useful information to the table?

Ring/necklace etc. Anything that makes you stand out a little.

With some work this could actually give some fairly interesting results as to how much of pua is just base attraction.

60 Years of Challenge talks about "your number" which a measure of the amount of girls you would need to approach to be able to take one home with you. As you get better at game (gain confidence / experience), this number will decrease (and the percent of closes you obtain will raise)

Its a very interesting idea because everyone, even the worst wbAFC will have a number, even if it is as high as 1,000 (or something ridiculous). That means that so long as the wbAFC has the balls to approach any women, he will close 1/1,000.

And the benefits are further reaching... As this guy keeps approaching, his number will decrease and his success rate will rise

At least on the surface, your experiment seems to indicate that ~10% of women are physically attracted to you. Without any game, you should be able to at least anchor 10% of the sets you open on basis of your physical attractiveness alone

With that in mind, you should have the confidence to approach at least 10 sets every time you sarge knowing that statistically 1 should land no matter what you do while in set. This knowledge should make you more aloof when you get rejected because you know you are one set closer to a positive interaction. And this strategy should give you plenty of opportunities to better your game
