I went out to a strip club for some entertainment. A cute Brunette, probably about a 7 or 8 approached. I ran some standard routines (David Bowie, ESP, the 'help me' face) and threw in a heavy dose of negs. She asked if I wanted a dance and appeared ready to leave.

Knowing the very little I do know about picking up strippers, I made the fundamental mistake of saying yes, lets go for a dance--although it was clear that she was about to go, and would certainly have resulted in a blow-out if I said no. (I take responsibility for this, if I was more interesting she might not have wanted to go work other patrons)

Midway through the first song she sits on my lap and starts kissing me. We continue to make out. Meanwhile the meter is running so after a few songs I tell her 'that's enough' and she accepts my money.

We talk a little afterwards. I tell a few stories with DHV spikes (travelling to europe, being a vegan, etc) , and we have a little banter. After a few minutes she tells me that she needs to go make more money, so I use DDA's advice and encourage her to go talk to the sleaziest looking guy in the place, telling her he's just her type and offering to introduce her. She giggles. We have an awkward/pregnant pause for about 10-15 seconds. I was half-expecting her to offer a number or ask me to give her a ride home. I thought in hindsight that she might have been waiting for me to make some kind of move. I froze, thinking that making a move on a stripper is a big faux pas.

In hindsight I should have told her I wanted to adopt her as my little sister and grabbed her number or told her to come grab something to eat with me. (20 minutes to closing time). Worst case she would have given me the "I don't hang out with clients outside the club" response.

I thought someone with more expertise on strippers might have some more insight here. I received tons of IOIs, but then I disregarded all of them based on her being a dancer---except for making out with me. That was the one IOI that I didn't know about.

Dancers are obviously EXPERTs in making guys feel like they're about to get their numbers, or that they're attracted to them, and its obviously about getting them away from their money--but then making out with them seems extreme.

So my question is this: based on what I'm saying, is it likely that she was making out with me because of genuine interest, or is this something that strippers will do to make more money? It has never happened to me before, and I don't know of anyone else who this has happened to.

Has anyone else encountered strippers who make out with their patrons? She certainly had no objections to taking my money! Even if she was attracted, based on your experience, would paying her for a dance have precluded me from closing on her?

Whats your location? That's quite important for how strippers act!

Slywalker, I am in Montreal, Quebec. Clubs in the suburbs are notorious for being little more than glorified brothels, but in the city itself they are above board. Lap dances here are nearly full-contact however.

I suspected this was in Canada, I have heard stuff about Canadian strip clubs before, I'm sorry but I think she was just trying to make you become a regular. She probably doesn't kiss all customers but the younger and better looking ones are easily deceived this way, sure you can go back and make a ballsy move but be careful and hold on to your wallet!
