Love to me is a scary emotion - letting someone inside, being vulnerable to the point where you crumble. It's hard to open your heart to someone at times, letting them see all your flaws.

Love can be turned into rage, a jealous menace that is like irritation to the heart. Unsure whether or not they love me or not takes a toll. Hopeful wishing they will in return but never will because of mundane reasons or complications.

Releasing a love one can be hard to bare, sorrow of their absence kicks in, numbness of where they use to be in your heart sits in, tears of sorrow seeping down the lids of your eyes. Letting go of what was there and will never be there, is difficult.

I've experienced the dread of love at times but which is not to meant to be. Two souls on the same life path, dancing harmless as one of them goes away. Hurt, rejection, sadness balls into one. Incompetence swells inside and the lack of understanding why things couldn't be the way he expects. Upon finally realizing, reality sinks in hard and stings like a razor blade against the skin.

This is what I've felt for years and haven't done anything to change it. Somehow this cycle keeps repeating itself, like old history in a book. Is love that bad? So confused on love and it's true meaning behind the provoking emotion. Has anyone been confused like I have been?
