Right now (8:44 AM), I'm going to make some cereal and a protein shake, and leave the house to hand out 30 resumes to 30 different banks for a teller position. It will work; internet applications are merely holding tickets for the physical showup; nothing works until you meet the manager, and hand in your resume.
Proven the manager of that bank has good sense in my professionalism, out of those 30 banks, 4-6 should call me back with an offer.
It's the way the numbers work. As for the aftermath of quitting, I feel much happier, and have no need to feel depressed. I was long overdue for escaping that pit of hell.
I'll keep you guys updated. Thanks for your support.
This all sounds very good. Remember that this is a marathon and not a short sprint. Better to do half of this progressive work in a day if it means that you can keep up your endurance level to continue on a positive, forward thinking manner. Set yourself a steady pace and keep at it!
