Hello all, for anyone that doesn't already know my name is Iden Cross and i would like to quickly talk about magic and its involvement in the pua community. Now I do not want to make any rash generalizations by saying everyone hates the idea of using magic with women. I know many men and women who love the idea of it but my goal in this post is to really dig into why everyone should be open to the idea as well as giving you magic tricks that I think will increase everyone's game drastically. Let me start off by saying I do not expect people who read this to go out and start their career as a professional magician but to rather embrace the idea and let it be another tool in your game. Now when i first started learning magic i realized how corny and pathetic it was. I would always see people pulling bunnies out of their hats or doing these lame ass mind reading tricks and it really embarrassed me in the sense that everything those magicians were i wasn't. That’s when i discovered the underground community of magic and the tricks i learned were so mind boggling to this day my mouth still drops when i see them. If anyone here is familiar with the Venusian arts consisting of mystery and all those guys you would at one point or another heard of the think of a number between one and 4 and so on and so forth. Now although this trick is basic psychology this is still considered a magic trick and to me a very lame one at that. Although this does create attraction and all that other bullshit it is still too risky. If she somehow picks a different number your response would be something like "you see this is proof that esp does not work" sure you would get a laugh but you did not get your overall goal accomplished. I’d rather perform a magic trick that has a ten times harder hit rate and has no chance at failure. Now below I gave you a very very short review on what I think about these effects but don’t just take my word for it at the very bottom of the post I have the links so you can see for urself.
Nailed by Jay Sankey- This trick is my favorite trick of all time so easy and you’re left clean and the spectators are left in amazement. The worst reaction i ever got was someone screaming, which in the end was not a bad reaction. This is amazing for comfort, attraction, gives you loads of dhv spikes.

Autograph- This one is also amazing and hits hard mentally can be used for both comfort and attraction but I think works better for comfort considering it creates such an amazing connect between you and your spectators. This one is unlike the first trick because it leaves your spectator with a memorable souvenir.
Stigmata- This one is probably the easiest out of all of them to master and the secret is so simple but yet so hard hitting. Gives an amazing chance in the performance to kino and escalate depending on how use you this routine but none the less an amazing trick to have up your sleeve.

I want everyone to know that you don’t need to be a magician to perform these effects, any person is capable of these effects. With these ideas as hard hitting and easy as they are it gives you the chance to really work on the presentation and patter. Now if you fear that by doing a couple of magic tricks you will be labeled as a magician well let me know cause I have a way to counter that. Also my next post will explain ways that I throw in pua tactics that really have helped my game but until then hope all goes well.

I am no magician, nor am I an illusionist!

However, I have picked up tricks from:

David Blaine street magic:
I learned by watching and being logical....AFTER i saw what moves could be available. Then i connected the dots and knew what he could do. I did this by reading books about the simple moves and searching magic shops for gimmicks. For example, a force. Learn that, and you can do whatever you want around a card trick. Shuffles + forces, then you can do whatever spiel you want.......

Derren Brown mentalism:
Have people in America heard of him?! ....This is what i want to learn. I've watched banachek (such a great mentalist!), and I can see a few of the rules applied to his work. But he adds something extra which is so mysterious.

Ian Rowland:
Cold Reading. I read his guide on cold reading. Derren brown mentions this method alot, and a lot of guys in the PUA community swear by it. ..But this is a technique you can apply to magic AND mentalism....and even to an approach.

I am by no means an expert, but I guarantee if you learn the methods of card tricks (the shuffles, forces and slips) ....then you can manipulate them however you want to.

I never want to undermine magic! I love being mystified! Maybe cards are old school now? but they still work as magic.

As for mentalism......we have to figure that out on our own ....Cold reading is a good start....
