I'm trying to figure out how to have good success with online personals. I hear about people having success but I'm starting to think its a bunch of horse shit! Here is my problem. I am a shorter guy(5ft 6in) and when I look through profiles almost every single woman wants a tall guy or at least thats what they say. I get no responses to my emails or profile whatsoever and I am sure it's because of being short. I'm not ugly by any means, just short. When I am in public I get plenty of looks from women, but online I get nothing! What gets responses? Specific examples would be greatly appreciated. Or am I just shit out of luck because I am short. It's starting to feel that way. Sorry I just can't bring myself to go for the 350 pound mammoth on the personals site.

One disadvantage of online personals is you are qualified by your raw stats before your personality (i.e., you can get flitered out of searches because of your height).

The concern is usually that women don't like men who are shorter than them (see: not being alpha) while they're wearing high heels.
