The more the days go by, the more useless the posts get

One FUNDAMENTAL thing in Pickup is:

Separating USEFUL from USELESS

And more than 80 % of the posts here are USELESS

A forum is made to get feedback and to discuss certain topics, NOT to comment on:

* How boring the David D's DVDs are or
* what's better BJ's or sex? Or
* If being a seducer should be revealed or not
* It's not made for insults either, or
* To post Youtube videos that are completely irrelevant to pick up, or
* To post openers in the Approach Section, the Approach section is to discuss the strategies and aspects of approach, not a line.

(And all the other bullcrap there)

That's why 80 % of you I'm sure to say won't get very far in this game, don't believe me? Here is proof

I have been training people underground, and one of the first thing they realize is this:

- They either were trying to show off to others, prove to others, or compete with others

Once they realize this, their game gets better by the tons.

Why may you say this attitude won't get you far in the game?

Show off is show off, you don't gain nothing from it, meaning you're waisting time.

Prove to others, YOU DONT HAVE TO prove to others, you DONT, or to me or anybody, all you need to do is improve yourse;f

Compete with others, this is the WORST one, believe it or not, this just sets you to lower yourself to your "competitor"'s value.

It's simple

SEPARATE useless from useful.

This my friends is a GENERAL, yet so IMPORTANT strategy to pick-up, PUT IT ON PRACTICE

I invite all of you, by show of hands (meaning show of posts) to be part of the Success group, (group I'm making on my own), whoever of you who is serious about this, follow me and post Yes.

If you're not, just keep doing what you've been doing

Forum: a public meeting or assembly for open discussion

That is it's definition. And whilst I agree that there are a ridiculous number of ridiculous posts here (especially those that are repeated time and time again) this is a forum related to pick up. Meaning anything Pick-up related can be discussed. This is not an exclusive 'inner circle' forum where the quality of posts is top-notch and everything dicussed is to better ones self.
Well that is what the premium section is for.

If people want to talk about something, let them. I don't like every single post that is put up on these boards. Doesn't mean I encourage people not to look at any of them.
It is just down to your own damn opinion.

I think we need one massive "Are you new to the forum" post with links and shit to everything as well as a general rule guide line with things like;

Dont ask for openers. heres a post on how to construct good openers [blah blah]

Things like that. It should help. Then people can just Link the thread to people who post useless posts or repeats.

On the other hand Giac makes a good point. An open disscussion is a good thing, as long as its in the right place. Maybe you should make an exclusive section of the board for the serious PUA's with restrictions on revealing things to public and a screening test to get the right people in.

Either way its common sense, if your too lazy to even use the search bar for questions on general things or religh on other people to give you canned goods then you can forget being a pua for a start. It takes effort and if you cant even put that effort in on a forum on the internet then I seriously doubt your sucess in the field.

Agreed.
And perhaps the Premium section should actually be restricted to those with quality posts. Mind you. I can see the Lounge being flooded with useless posts in the event of this happening.

Yeah I dunno about premium being restricted. But I too am sick to shit of the repetition of the same threads being created over and over and over.... and over! I think... Xfman started a thread like you are talking about, with links to all that stuff, it's pretty recent.

you guys have basically said what i think of the post, on both sides. BUT, i do want to comment on the need to prove yourself and the need for competition.

It's SO crucial to realize that you don't need to prove yourself to others. If you're a show off, it's a SERIOUS DLV! You know how in the A2/A3 phases, you look for signs where the girl is qualifying herself to you? Well, when you show off, you're trying to qualify yourself to others, and that's a big no no for a PUA.

Just my 2 cents.

take it easy donjuan , Where just asking questions and you say 80% of people wont be able to become puas? How can you make a blanket statement like that when you dont know some of the people who are actually on this forum?

I think romeo's point is that the clutter of useless posts makes finding useful information more difficult. This is supposed to be a public discussion, for sure -- but it's also supposed to have a direction/topic of some sort.

Maybe the solution is having more moderators?

I disagree with this -
i beleieve this open forum should incourage poeple who have the same mind-sets to be able to interact with other people who hold similar values, ideas etc.
the first 4 points can relate to a person with ambitions of being PUA - it has obvious conitations for anyone who needs help or in considering buying DVD's etc to get feedback.
I think the process of discussion is very important to building relationships within the forum.

BUT I DO AGREE WITH THE FINAL POINT - PUT THE RIGHT POSTS IN THE FUCKING RIGHT SECTIONS... FOR FUCK SAKE!!!

i am looking forward to the premuim zone of the forum and how it will actually look - i think its got alot of potential.

i also feel that anyone who is inactive whith 3 months should be deleted - there are old posts being rehashed from people who i am sure do not even subscribe here anymore.... and 8000 memebers!! thats rediculous!!

when i first got into the game this pissed me off a heap

PEOPLE SEEKING VALIDATION!!

there is no need for this - and if you do continue down this path you will not progress as an individual.

do it for your own personal pregression - not for the numbers, the fame, your mates etc - if this is why you are here, then you need to take a huge step back... remind yourself why you came here and got into the community - work on your INNER GAME - then go again. if you are thinking the wrong reasons - then your inner game is weak

Great 2nd part to post romeo

Romeo is right there is a lot of trash going around the forum, I see people that have been members for less that 2 weeks and have as many or more posts than me, just to tell u guys I have been here a good solid 6 months..... I for one im glad there having a premium zone that can discus question of serious merit and get serious answers, not get answers from guys that are half way done with ¨the game¨!!!!
