zomg I'm back. Anywho, just heard something in a movie that got me thinking, and I thought I'd share.

----

We only brood upon the chances we didn't take; the things we didn't do.

I think this is a great way to look at things. Sure, there are the things you look back at, and your face instantly turns red. May have ruined a relationship, or made people laugh at you, but did it seriously effect you negatively in the long run?

I know when I look back at my life, the things that stick out like sore thumbs are exactly those described above. Things I was scared to do. The people I was too scared to talk to. The things I didn't go to because I was afraid I wouldn't have any friends there. The things I wanted to do, but was afraid people would laugh at me for. I can even list specific events that haunt me on a daily basis. I'll limit myself to those PUA related, as that's why most of you are here:

*The girl I didn't kiss after prom.
*The girl at a party who was PAINFULLY OBVIOUSLY interested in me, but I was way to scared of rejection to ask for her number.
*Agreeing to date a girl that I had no real interest in whatsoever because she slept with me, and ending up hurting her far more than I ever could have by telling her the truth originally.

I could keep going, but you get the idea.

Opportunities are like transportation. If you don't hop on, they won't wait around for you, they leave. And sure, another will be around shortly, but if you plan on getting far, you should hop aboard asap.

You should look at all the "wrong" decisions you made as a way of getting where you are. I personally wouldn't change a single thing, if it meant not being who I am today

Great to see you back on the forum Reverse! Hope you intend on sticking around cause I love your perspectives and I think you make a great point here.

What's the worst thing that can happen? You look back on something and say, "well that didn't turn out so well!" or having the thoughts of the chance that you never took haunt you for the rest of your life and wishing about a thousand times that you had had the guts to do it? I know I'd rather face a little disappointment than eternal regret!

Hehe, I know, i'm a flake when it comes to the forum  I'll be in and out though, post when I think it's relevant. No promises though

But really, I think this is one of the biggest things when it comes to PUA. Guys just need to get over the fact that they may be embarrassed, and live it up. You don't get second chances.

If you're not doing what you want to, my question to you is WHY?
