Man it sucks asking this question but i cant get over my AA without a couple of pints in me. I would happily carry on doing this but might it lead to alcoholism?

I'm sick of ppl trying to get rid of AA before approaching. It's like trying to get a fucking black belt before you ever get into a sparring match.

You do what you are afraid of, and then the fear goes away. Not the other fucking way around. SBAP and man up to face life for all it is.

You can try to run away from life and the challenges it comes with by drinking and doing other things that make you more of a pussy, but in the end you won't be able to run or hide.

The fear of rejection will eventually turn into anticipation of outcome but as I see it the whole rush is a part of pua and without it it would get boring

Doesn't drinking kind of defeat the point of AA? And somehow I don't think drinking can help you get over alcoholism. Really, it's more likely to exacerbate the problem.

But more to the point; don't drink to get over AA. You'll also get rid of your ability to game. The point of these skills aren't so you can go out and pull, they're so that when you see someone you want to pull you can. Unless you're going to carry booze with you wherever you go - which I would NOT recommend - then this will defeat the purpose. You won't get into the headspace of "Oh, I can do it drunk so I can do it sober," you'll get into the headspace of "I can't do this without a drink."

drinking for the purpose you've stated here is cowardly. capisce? if you fear something, THEN GO FACE IT. like chief said, SBAP. confidence derives from experience; experience speaks for itself. strap on a pair dogg. set goals for yourself. they don't have to be large ones; take it one step at a time. as you achieve each goal, you will get more confident in yourself, because you are proving that you can do shit to the only person you should be proving shit to: YOU. not me - cause, frankly I am the MOST important person for me, hah - or anyone else. just you. and congratulate yourself along the way.

this is no self inflated self esteem bullshit. this is the real deal. work on becoming a better man in all areas of your life.
confidence will follow. aiite nigga?

A misconception: Alcahol doesnt help you be more confident. It helps you stop thinking full stop. It makes you more stupid.

Do you really want to be able to only ever sarge drunk? The problem is, even if its only a pint you have before sarging, next time you will rely on it more. - you will tell yourself - yeah i cant do it without a pint in me. The more you do it the harder it will be to sarge without it. STOP.

Alcahol should never be a resort for AA.

And chief nice metaphor with the fighting a black belt.

lol at the AA thing. but seriously the best thing to do is go to a mall or whatever someplace with a bunch of potential sets (not a club or bar), and try to approach and open 9 sets in 10 minutes saw this on youtube and tried it and it really worked. Besides in addition to curing your AA, you might get a few numbers out of it if your game is tight.

also the whole drinking to get over approach anxiety should definately be a major concern, it happened to a friend of mine. he is an AFC like most people but he had it so dead set in his mind that he needed booze to approach women and unfortunately now he relies on booze for dealing with way more than approach anxiety on saturday nights.
