| Just like college, everyone encourages us to get into PUA, but no one ever really says anything about the price. Well, after crunching a few numbers, I've come to a total spending of $13,260 to PUA related purchases or spending within the last two years. By that, I mean new clothes, travel expenses, books, and recreational expenses.
Perhaps to some of you, this is not considered a lot of money. To me, it's over half my current annual earning, before taxes. Suffice to say, in the past two years, a quarter of my earnings went to support my new found hobby of Pick-Up. Though I'm not overly upset about it, I'd like to give a hand to my peers, especially the poor ones like me, on how to avoid as much of these expenses as possible.
A few money saving advices:
1.) Don't spend too much on clothes. I've learned that a large majority of women don't care whether you shop at the Gap or at WalMart for your outfits. If you look good in it and you like it, that's all that should matter to you! Social upkeep is over-rated!
2.) To avoid club admission fees, start getting in good with bouncers. By that, I mean actually talk to them. Learn their names, buy them a drink at the end of the night. Most of them are pretty cool.
Make sure they know your name! If you ever reach that stage where you can get in for free, don't be a dick and try to get in five or six of your friends for free. It's disrespectful to the bouncer and the club. One's enough, two is pushing it if they're not a usual. Also, this automatically gives you credibility, when people (by that I mean women) sees you walk past the line, shake the bouncers' hands and be allowed in immediately.
3.) If your car is not shit hot looking, KEEP IT CLEAN!
I drive a 1995 white Toyota Corolla. It has over 300,000 miles on it and sounds like a rubble of falling rocks going down a road. But I wash it once a week, my interior is well kept, and I can spare two bucks a month on a decent air freshener. Remember, you spend more time being INSIDE your car than you probably do staring at it. So will most women you've Picked Up!
4.) Learn to cook!
Not only does this give you MAJOR brownie points on an post-second date, but it saves you a ton of cash outside of your PUA lifestyle. No more eating out! You'll also likely start losing a bit of weight because there's less preservatives.
5.) Baby oil is just as an effective massage oil/lotion as one that's flown in from France. Warm it up a little prior by putting the bottle in a container of hot water. Or mix the two, two parts baby oil, one part warm water.
6.) When all else fails, RENT a movie instead of going to the theaters. Unless she's expressed that she wants to see a particular movie prior, the main experience of a date is too spend time together. If you're low on cash or ideas of where/what to do/say or both, RENT a movie.
Keep in mind to RENT a movie, not watch one you already have or borrow one from a friend. You have to show/maintain the illusion you've given the date some thought to show her a good time at your own convenience and expense.
Note: This is for a casual date, further down the relationship. Not for the first few dates!
7.) Don't over do it on the books. I have over twenty books related to Pick Up and seduction alone. I've only managed to have finished reading half of those books and remember only a third of what I've read. Only really applied a third of what I remembered. But I know that almost every book I've read thus far repeats of the same messages and lessons, if only in a different order or wording.
8.) If you're a drinker, Pre-Game if you know you'll end up in a bar or club later that night.
That's all I've managed to hit on, they're the main ones I've found I can change about myself. Feel free to add on. _________________ Look back to yesterday, remember all the things you'll regret? Come back to the now. Think about tomorrow, how many regrets do you think you're going to have?
