Okay my mate was telling me hes got this girl, hes a natural tbh and usually does really well with women but gets stuck with a few things so I help him out.

He tells me that hes seeing this girl quite a bit and that in sort of a way to impress him she talks about ex boyfriends and what shes done with previous lads he knows, he believes she does this because she is slightly insecure but still he does not know what to do or say in this situation.

how would you guys handle the situation because he wants to be in an LTR with this girl but this is one of her faults if you like

I wouldn't do anything directly. I don't think there is anything you can do to stop her reminiscing. If she is verbalizing this because she is insecure, then as your friend and this girl become more comfortable with each other, it will probably become less frequent.

I think the best advice I would give your friend would be to have him do crazier, wilder, and more memorable things with this chick to one-up any fond memories she might have with past guys.
