This world will never give you what you want. You must take it. The sky won’t open up one day with happiness raining down on you. You must earn it. Life experience won’t be thrust upon you. You have to live it. It would be hard to find someone who doesn’t believe these words hold truth. However, though they make for an inspiring mantra, it’s difficult to put into action. How does one seize the day without feeling extremely uncomfortable? The truth is that if you’re not scaring the living shit out of yourself each and every day, you are not living up to your full potential. The only way to stop being afraid of something is to confront it, and often. As men, we should not have to go through life feeling lost and helpless. We should be able to take the reins, grab the bull by the horns, or at least take control of something. If the only control you have over your life is the type of toothpaste you use, you might have a fucking problem. This whole pick-up thing is so much bigger than attracting women. It’s about making all aspects of yourself attractive, not just to the world, but to YOU! It’s about creating a mind-set that releases you from your self-programming; all of your “I can’t’s” and your “maybe tomorrows”. Of course just getting in this mind set isn’t good enough. You must go out and DO! Be afraid! Be very afraid! If you’re shaking from fear, you’re on the right track.

There is nothing in the above paragraph that you didn’t know already and it probably sounds like the same recycled cliche but there is a reason why it sounds cliche and overused. Ironically, even though everyone has heard about seizing the day and taking control of your life, being all you can be and giving a hundred and ten percent, we put it off to a day that won’t come. Don’t spend your life waiting. -End of rant-
