i would like to start a book club of sorts here in the forum. I know it sounds a little gay but we can benefit from the insights of one another way more than our own. so with that in mind.....

I was told by a girl that I know that many of "our" rules sound alot like the rules that are featured in a book called...duh..."The rules"

I bought the book and it's close. It's DAMN close. I think we could all read this book in about a day or two and learn the following.

1. Which rules make sense for us.
2. how to apply them in the opposite direction than they were intended by the authors
3. how women think and spotting some of their "games" that they play on us.

After reading just the opening chapters I can tell you this. DO NOT FEEL GUILTY ABOUT GAMING GIRLS THEY ARE DOING IT TO YOU EVERY DAY OF YOUR LIFE WHETHER YOU REALIZE IT OR NOT PERIOD.

Ok...tell me what you think.

I haven't read it. I only read some of the basic rules and I think is the way a total - > Bitchy kind of girl; behaves.

I have to say the rules are all based on hard to get and Cat String Theory , but unless she is hot most of the guys will give up. Example of a rule, Never Call him , Never return calls, Stop Dating Him if He Doesn't Buy you a Romantic Gift for Your Birthday or Valentine's Day; Don't Accept a Saturday Night Date After Wednesday; Be Honest But Mysterious, etc...

This might work in some guys, especially some AFC that are really needy and easy to manipulate. But for us PUAs I don't think or at least for me I don't think I will be really interested in a girl playing with me like that unless she is a SHB11 in my country. Otherwise I don't think that not returning my phone calls are going to get me interested more than one time.

I might wonder what happened the two first times , but thats it, and behaving in such a hard to get way it might be a great way to get a hook and a guys attention but if she still playing that way, I will say good bye.

In a nutshell: I think they might work with some guys but not that much with PUAs and they shouldn't be rules , because sometimes I bet they might brake them.

I agree completly. Which of these rules other than the ones we already use "like never buy a drink" should we adopt for ourselves for use against them?

In my opinion a person that follow rules like a social robot will find out later on that he/she is empty. Even me as a PUA if I start making a set rules of attraction that are meant to get you the girls of your dreams, and these rules can't be broken it will not work.

Every person is different, yes there are some principles that are universal, the Cat String Theory as an Example...

And I tell this to everyone (From AFC - mPUA) whenever your going to follow rules or when you read a routine, when you read a new method, take waht you can use, be available to internalize the stuff and seee what works with you and what doesn't work with you. And of Course feel free to brake rules, thats the only way you learn - > Experience.

If Style says don't buy girls drinks ... go out and try your best, go with confidence, nice body language and buy a girl a drink and after that you will find if that works for you or not.

There you go. This is just a post to share my way of thinking.

Whenever I get new material go out and try it.

In another post from Romeo7 he post that he go with a girl and he said I think your beautiful. I respect his opinion and I will go out and try it and if it doesn't work out for me, I'm not going to blame Romeo, I will just learn that that line doesn't work that good for me. And why, BECAUSE EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT, EVERYBODY HAS A WAY OF THINKING AND A UNIQUE WAY OF ACTING (and of course the way they use the game as PUA.)

And when talking about the rules book, I talk from my experience some rules will work really good on me but some others might not and might make me loose interest on the girl but thats the way it is.
