I'm going with this girl who has a thing for me, but I recently just got out of a relationship so I'm kinda taking it slow. That doesn't mean I'm not looking for something romantic though. Just looking for something fun and different. She's not the bar/club type either so that's out. Also, it doesn't have to be within the city, but I don't want anything an hour away from it either.
I know this isn't really about pickup, but I thought if anyone would know of fun things to do over there, it'd be forum members from that area.

I recommend going to Granville Island, or Science World, or Imax/Omnimax Theaters. You could also go ice skating or something, but I would stay to indoor activities. It's kinda fucking cold here right now so don't plan on too much out doorsy stuff. _________________ There are no failures, only feedback.

Now because of the time of year, it won't be nearly as good as it is in late spring and summer, but if you dress warm then you'll have one of the best views you can get in the city. Daytime is alright, but for best effect this is something for a clear night because you want to be able to look out and see all the lights. If you're ever there in the spring or summer, then it's a fantastic place to go because there are really nice open gardens with all kinds of amazingly beautiful flowers and benches to sit on while you watch the sunset.
Head up to Burnaby Mountain's lookout point. It's on the way up to Simon Fraser University (SFU), via Hastings street. There's a restaurant there, which is a little more expensive than your average, but if you've got the money, then it's supposed to be a great place to eat. If you don't have the cash, then eat somewhere else and then take a drive up there afterwards and you can sit and enjoy the view together. Bring some chocolate or something and with a blanket to cuddle up under for warmth, you'll sweep her off her feet. _________________ "The 'Brick Walls' are there to allow you to prove how badly you want something!" ~ Randy Pausch
