Too many of you here are so busy taking away from the forums and never giving anything back. If you see a post you like then offer some feedback. If you see a post you dislike then offer feedback. If you think you want to criticize someone else post then criticize it while presenting a valid argument to show where the poster information maybe inaccurate or whatnot, don’t just criticize because your jealous of the praise or attention a particular post may be receiving. Don’t be swayed by the influence of others to not like someone’s post/s and offer feedback think for yourself(Some members are more influential than others their slightest word can be very powerful people listen for better or worst).

Be a contributor not just a taker there is no reason for a post to have 100 views 0 replies
If you have something you think that may be of any importance or use to the poster then say it. There’s something to be learned from even the simplest of post.

Indeed Reo! Don't be afraid to speak up, we encourage it.

Don't worry if your opinion contradicts other people's, that's what makes a forum good, varied perspectives. I often have people telling me to calm down, or telling me that I must be angry because everything I do or write I am passionate about and people mistake that passion for something else. Some people run away from discussions because they think it is an argument. I encourage every last one of you to hold your ground if you believe in something and to support your side in order to help not only the people you are discussing with, but also yourself to gain a better understanding of your views. :)

How is this even relevant to giving credit to where it's due?
I thought you were talking about stealing material.

Honestly, half these topics are the same utterless questions asked by kids who dont want to use the search toolbar. Feedback isn't necessary. Especially when you dont learn anything.

Why did you make my brain hurt by trying to think of how this song links to your post reo :(
Agreed, I would rather someone posted "I agree" "thats good" or something short like that than nothing on a post (assuming its not a question post). The other good thing to do is if someone has already said what you would have done, just say you agree. That way, especially newbies see that if lots of experienced people agree its 99% likly to be good advice.

Why do you care about getting reputation points and an ego-boost off an online forum???

To answer your first question: re-read the post

Beschatten you're a vocal person you say whatever your thinking. its not that easy for everyone a forum this size can be intimidating people not offering feedback can be down right drepressing but your also right ppl should to uses the search the button

lets take you for instance
If no one responded to some of your post they'd amount to the ramblings of a village idiot high in entertainment value. However as posters respond to your initial ramblings potential starts to see light and creates interesting discussion, but take away the comments and we have a disaster.

and Ego boost would be me bragging about that 3 threesome i had last night with no little substance behind the story.
Why did you care about being a mod at one point?

I am enlightened. I see your point on why people should give feedback.

As for the latter remark, it wasn't directed towards you. It was towards this

Its not an ego boost for me, People on this forum know when they are good at what they do and give great advice. A newbie cant tell the difference easily between some1 offering good and bad advice.
I will use an example,
personX "random easy to answer question"
PersonY (has a low post count) "long detailed answer"
2-3 comments saying how thats right (far more detailed than they would have written.

Now the same situation without the comments and bad advice, the newbie takes it because it LOOKS detailed and good. Fucks up, gets confused loses confidence and continues to be bad with women.

I completley agree with what Madals is saying. I've seen SO many guys give detailed replies about what works, when in fact it is a complete load of bullshit and doesn't work at all. The newbies say they're going to go and try it though and come back all confused about why it doesn't work.

I've also seen some really great advice from people that didn't get the credit they deserved for it and their post was passed over. If people who understood and agreed were to reply, then the post would be valued and more people would take that good advice.

This is always an issue. People say stuff like, "Well if I agree, then there is nothing that I need to say." but that isn't true. Saying why you agree is worth a lot and even just saying that you DO agree is worth something.

I 100% agree.
for example Rye, you give great advice, but dont always have time. If you read something thats good, you saying "personX gave brilliant advice" will give that post credit (especially if the person doesnt look experienced, low post count etc).
Its the same for all the experienced people, it makes it easy to sort the good from the bad.

To be perfectly honest, I tend to start merely saying that I agree for some simple reason and end up rambling on. I RARELY ever intend to write the lengthy posts I make, lol! I honestly don't read all that many threads though because of the fact that I've seen so many of the same things and usually I end up posting in almost all the threads that I do read.

Yeah, sounds like a good idea to me. I was so used to knowing anything, now I know some things. I should give feedback. win/win situation
