So the other night I was watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. I hadn't seen it in years. I do remember seeing it in theaters as a kid though. I have to say even though I am a bit older now and the movie look ridiculously fake those turtles are still pretty funny. And it became clear to me that they are actually a littlebit alpha. More particularly they are very confident and funny. - cocky funny-.

If you watch the ninja turtles movies again today and observe with a "pua mindset" you might find a personality model to fit into your own persona. Particularly Michelangelo...

This biggest thing with the turtles is that absolutely nothing can break their frame, nor change their mindset and persona that is the "cocky funny ninja turtle" mindset

No matter who steps up to fight them.. 9 times out of 10 they laugh it off and continue to know/believe that they are the unbeatable rebelious superheros.

unless shredder steps up.. then they freak out a little

I like to look at pickup this way.. no matter the set or girl.. you shouldnt let them control you... and change your thought and frame... like a ninja turtle

Also I started thinking about all the alpha characters from great movies over time.

a more obvious and cliche one is

Maverick in TOPGUN played by Tom Cruise.. Of course this is braught up in The Game.

I find one of the most alpha male actors of all time to be Marlon Brando

Marlon Brando in the Godfather is a very alphamale and is basically a pickup artist in the musical Guys and Dolls.

Al Pacino is extremely alpha male in Scarface.. although he is a murdering coke dealer.. and he is even more alpha male in his cool-headed 'in-control' manner that he has in Godfather.

Obviosly Brad Pitt is alpha in almost all his latest movies and of course Fight Club acted as the model for the basic concepts of the PUA community. (ironicly tyler durden stands for everything opposite the community though.. huh)

I think one of the biggest alpha males of our time is Jack Nicholson. Although many think hes creepy, they say he goes through women like like gasoline.

so anyway these are just a few. I love watching their movies and depicting what makes them alpha. of course some of you might disagree completely and I would love to hear about it... add on your own favorites

final thought.. go watch ninja turtles

You missed Johnny Depp, He's one the greatest alpha males, he wears shitty props during movies all the time that would make any other man look ridiculous but his I-don't-give-a-fuck attitude enhances his image. (For god's sake who wears eyeliner during a pirate movie)

Not gonna lie here. I think one of the best up and coming Alpha Males is Daniel Craig from Casino Royale. Yea yea we can argue all day long about who the best James Bond is. (Anyone is a great alpha male, but all of them have had their chance to shine)

I was sitting back watching CR one day and I realized that this was the young Bond and that NOTHING could stop him. Watching him play Hold'em and deal with the ladies was INSANE. He was so confident from the way he walks, talks, and handles his shit! Lately he has been my idol for gaming.

O also, the JOKER from Dark Knight, Heath Ledger owned this role. Whenever I feel like I can't make an approach I just think to myself "Why so serious?" and all those butterflies go away. You just gotta go through with it and not care about the outcome!

thankyou patience for mentioning daniel in casino royale, i watched it the other day and man, even though its a movie and all scripted, he is still able to give off that smart-ass/calm vibe that seems to irresistable.

also Jude Law. i dont know why but I love the guy. I mean alfie was a movie based upon him being a ladies man, yet he can portray it very well in real life. i just really dig his style, and the accent is also a nice touch. hes one of my favourites for sure.

I find more well developed characters in tv personally. One of my hobbies is cinematography and I love to dissect the nuances of characters.

Check out the main characters of Supernatural (Dean in particular) and Michael Weston from Burn Notice (he's who I take as my biggest character models).

Anyone who has not yet watched Californication should go and do so immediately. The character of Hank Moody represents everything a pick-up artist needs to be. Even when he looks like three-day-old road kill, his "I don't give a fuck" attitude, funny games, cocky frame, unshakable resolve and his intense sexuality make him a force to be reckoned with. I swear to the gods, David Duchovny (or his writer at least) is a pick-up artist extraordinaire.

And Eugene Hutz, lead singer of Gogol Bordello, is quickly becoming one of my favorite celebrities to emulate. Again, he has a very strong "I don't give a fuck" attitude, but with Hutz it's far more prominent. His outlandish clothing (he's a gypsy), intense energy, unique personality, dedication to having a good time and unshakable optimism all conspire to make him insanely attractive. He may be one of the least physically appealing human beings I've ever seen, but a lot of women I know would sleep with him at the drop of a hat. ^_^

Now all though marlon brando is really old in this video.. he is still cool as hell. Notice how funny and witty he is while also playing the sort of clueless, innocent child role that Robert Greene talks about in art of seduction.

it is known that marlon got a lot of ass in his time and many consider him the greatest actor of all time. He also talks about interactions with people. I posted this in the video section a long time ago. But whatever.

Very few people watch this show but .... its absolutely amazing. Spader plays the role with so much confidence/humour you just cant just smile when you see all the sexual situations in.

Really good idea for a role model!

Someone mentioned above, but I think its a very good point.

Heath Ledgers Joker (great performance by the way) is actually a very good headset to get into.

Ok ok, obviously ditch the sociopathic murdering nature, the lip licking and the creepy voice (lol); but what I mean is...imagine you are that I dont give a fuck, why so serious etc etc.

Don't copy any mannerisms, but imagine you are him.

100% you lose that anxiety about anything, and literally laugh off any rejection etc etc. Its quite freaky how imagining you are someone who you've watched intensely on screen can make you feel similarily confident.

I'm not necessarily talking alpha male, I'm thinking more along the lines of putting yourself in a character that a)helps you with confidence, lessens your anxiety and b) does help display some qualities of an alpha male. Although, of course, not an alpha male.

In my own personal level, the alpha male stuff isn't that important.

Obviously having the confidence, social proof and control of emotions...but i think going overboard and studying an individual isn't going to work.

Present yourself as carefree and confident and let you talking be your selling point; rather than imitiating an individual.

Thats why I suggest to put yourself in the jokers mind for a moment (I now think with that confidence naturally). It brings out that fuck it, cocky attitude and allows me to bring out that natural wit I was lucky to be born with.

I dont need to copy another alpha male - I do fine by myself.
