It's like speech and confidence building for business professionals. Guaranteed there are meetings in your area. You can drop in to meetings for free, but if you stick around long enough they might ask for dues.
Had to do it as part of a college speech class. Sucked ass, but definite confidence builder and glad I did it.
What do they do? Well, for instance, you talk to a group of 5/10/20 people for 5 minutes about something in the news. Or your favorite season and why. Or about yourself. They go round robin and then there's usually some official business or people making speeches to get them crossed off their "list".
They will critique you for fillers (umm... ehh.... like) and tonality, confidence, etc.
