I don't about you reading this in your corner of the world- but here in the UK (United Kingdom/Great Britian) it is December 09, it is Winter and its bloody freezing. Not the best weather to find hot looking females.

2008 was the year I really knuckled down and got some Extreme hardcore PUA experience, by going out solo, making things happen and getting laid and more numbers than my phone could hold.

About halfway through, though some life chnages meant I had other commitments that were equally exiciting, I signed up in a course and I have been planning leaving home.
With these plans in place by mid October I was about to venture out BUT something struck me.

Most women are
a) Already in relationships (they tend to settle down with their "mate" in the last of summer rush)
b) they're thinking of boyfriends, friends and family at Christmas and wont be as open to new social invites
c) Not as open to starting a relationship at Christmas
d) Come January 09 big decisions are made- New Diet, Getting her "body back" after Christmas lunch, Ditching "Xmas romances"

Now for the past 2 years I have always began "The New Year" Fresh in November. I bust a hardcore diet, I quit drinking, I save money, I work on my body and I plan a list of what I want to achieve before it starts.

I then had a fanatasy of the abundance of beatuiful women, wtih short skirt wearing, tanned beauties walking about on a sunny day ages 18-35 all horny as fuck.
I thought why start 09 hung over, overweight, rejected or wasting time with drunken hoes when I can begin it on the "right foot" by being miles ahead of the Game.

So vote- are you a fair weather person taking advantage of "breeding season" or are you all year round?

I didn't vote in the poll because the choices are confusing and unfair. Well that's a miracle in it self! in my 'corner' of the world it's November 30th. I didn't know a corner existed that was 9 days ahead (unless you meant December, '09 where you would be a year ahead).
It sounds like you have a lot of self-limiting beliefs.

a) A lot of women may have boyfriends, but guess what? If they aren't serious and she is out without him, then that shouldn't be much of an obstacle. Women are always looking for the bigger better deal and if your game is tight she will jump ship.

b) Speculation, and untrue in my mind. Women are DTF any time of the year.

c) Says who?

d) More speculation that is completely unfounded, caused by your negative outlook

If you believe these things then they will be self-fulfilling prophecies in that you will make them be true. You will look for reasons to not sarge or not try to pick up girls. You are holding yourself back in the worst kind of way.

I've often found this to be the best time of year to find a new girlfriend. Nobody likes to be alone during the holidays, and when it's cold outside it's fun to play indoor sports. Who are they gonna kiss New Years Eve? Some are even desperate just to get laid before the year is gone. I love this time of year, even when I knew nothing about pickup I got many new girlfriends between Christmas and New Years so IMHO I disagree.

I think it is easier to pickup women in winter, they are dressed practically not trying to look sexy (its hard with a cold and scarf), so their defenses are down. That said though I live about 20 minutes from Newquay during the summer which is probably the most target rich environment in the UK over the summer, so I always take full advantage of that.
