Everyone that knows me, knows by now that I am a struggling conservationist, environmental preacher, and "wanna-be" activist. Some would probably even go as far as saying Eco-extremist.

While perusing the interwebz I stumbled across some interesting information about how to "green" your bedroom life.

The following is taken from www.greenhome.huddler.com
Quote:
How To Green Your Bedroom Fun

Condoms – Latex is great for safe sex. If you’re a vegan looking for latex without the added milk proteins, try Glyde condoms (or if you’re in Europe, try Condomi condoms that use cocoa powder instead of milk). They’re also known as cruelty free for not testing on animals. Or perhaps you'd like to show some love for the Amazon while your making some good sweet lovin'? Check out condoms from Natex. Not only do they support sustainable use of the Amazon, but they support Brazilian families and encourage safe sex.

Lubricant – Choose something natural. Avoid petroleum-based products, artificial flavors, scents, and colors. You can even try organic lube. Check out Good Glide, Sympathical, Firefly, Sensua Organics Personal Lubricant, or Yes.

Mood lighting – Do it in the dark (and save electricity). That’s right. Turn off the lights. Or if you must see, choose daylight hours.

Sex toys – Vibrators, anal beads, and other fun toys may be great for your sex life but might not actually be so great for you. Many toys contain phthalates, a chemical used to soften hard plastics and give toys a jellylike quality. Phthalates have generated significant concern recently as several studies have shown that even low doses of the chemical can be harmful (such as impacting fetal reproductive development - this group of chemicals are know as endocrine disruptors). Avoid these chemicals by using toys made from glass, metal, hard plastic, or elastomers. Try the elastomer, phthalate free Rabbit Habit. Also, if your toy requires power of some kind, consider buying a rechargeable one or using rechargeable batteries. Try rechargeable toys like the Acuvibe or the Lily from Lelo or the Solar Vibrator which as it sounds is charged by the sun.

Bed sheets – When you slip between the sheets, try something organic like Gaiam Organic Cotton Sheets or something made from bamboo (which is a rapidly renewable resource as it’s actually a grass) like Bamboo Fiber Sheets.

Showers – Save water. Shower together.

Lingerie – Before you find yourself in your birthday suit, you may consider throwing on some sexy lace or slinky silk. If you’re in the market for lingerie, go for the eco-friendly, super-sexy options of organic cotton, bamboo, hemp, and other renewable and sustainable materials. Try Enamore, g=9.8, GreenKnickers, American Apparel, BuenoStyle, Ceil, People Tree, Good Karma Organics, Spirit of Nature, Deity Aton, Peaceful Company, or Blue Canoe (the men should check out Patagonia, Red Dog, or Cottonfield). Come spring, Victoria's Secret is supposed to launch a few organic options in their Pink line.
Obviously these are all little steps; however, taking into account production, distribution, and use....the little steps build up to a tangible impact.

So for those Vegans out there, and the other people trying to be environmentally conscious in all aspect of their lives - I am presenting this material. Just a couple fun little alternatives!

There are many choices you can make to continue to change your habits, and create a more 'green' way of life. I challenge everyone to start looking!

I am an environmental studies major, a dedicated environmentalist and an aspiring PUA. Yes, I do wish to live an eco-friendly PUA life. I have wondered how many thought the same. Glad to know there is one out there like me Locke.

Hi, I am inexperienced with PU, though I have gone out a few times alone, and once with experienced PUAs (which was remarkable). I am an enviro. I have canvassed for environmental groups, enjoy the enthusiasm this situation engenders among coworkers, and want to create similar passion in relationships with female sex partners (I am hetero). To make this happen, it seems necessary to find women who are reasonably clued in, especially regarding climate change. The best way to find them in my very conservative, fairly small city seems to be online (I've had better results in larger cities, but don't want to move for at least the next two years while I finish a degree), so I've been working on online seduction for about three weeks, sending, on average, one message per day. I know it's typical to send many more messages per day on average, but I don't want to send many until I get more perspectives from more experienced PUAs on messaging, profile writing, and subsequent steps, and the pool of enviro women seems small (more on that below). To avoid analysis paralysis, I like to send at least a message or two a day. I've read a few forum posts, The Game, and not much else in this genre.

I question whether much of the usual PUA advice applies to my goal. For instance, I am focused on learning about, and adapting to, climate change, arguably the single bleakest subject. I want to hang out with women who are at least willing to engage with this discussion. Would such women be attracted to the standard flippant, fun-loving PUA persona (notwithstanding that I acknowledge that some PUAs using that style get results)? On my site (OKCupid), there seems to be a pool of only a few dozen women who study the biosphere. I'm sure many online PUAs send a few dozen messages in a typical hour, and could burn up a few dozen leads in a day, moving on to other women. I enjoy having sex with any woman who is attractive to me, regardless of her views, but this has always entailed hanging out for several dates first, and I am strongly disinclined to spend that much time around people who aren't willing to talk about ecology. I've done that before, and gotten laid as a result, but am willing to put in extra effort to avoid it because of the degree to which I dislike it. I am aware I may want to supplementally sarge at enviro group meetings. I also surmise that "few-dozen-itis" may have similar disadvantages to oneitis, but I place a high premium on environmentally literate women, so again, I am looking for a way to target only this small group. I understand that I might eventually hook up with an occasional enviro woman through activist circles, but that this would likely be sporadic and rare, as has been my experience when I have moved in those circles.

Similarly, classic PUA advice emphasizes being an asshole to some degree, and I think I have a basic understanding of how to do that. My primary motivation is to survive future environmental and economic stresses, rather than to "save the Earth," so I come by the asshole attitude honestly. I am not a liberal (or a conservative). In my experience, though, almost all female environmentalists are more or less liberal, with the ensuing emphasis on compassion. Last night I watched an old vid produced by Style, showing a PUA successfully working a club claiming he broke his leg trying to rescue a kitten (one HB indicated interest by saying she worked at an animal shelter). This tactic seems antithetical to the asshole stance, instead portraying compassion for animals. So, to pull enviro women, should I try to project the asshole side of my personality, or the (less extant) compassionate side, or is there a synthesis of these that is best?

What are good steps to take, from start to finish, to seduce enviro women?

Thanks,

Aegis
