Here's a line I use to get a quick # close. It works about 80% of the time. Almost 100% on 7's and below (but who wants those right), and gets less effective as you go higher. 10's is about 20% I guess.

I wait in the club parking lot with my friends. When I see an HB going toward the club I approach, usually from about 45 degrees, but from whatever angle I can make eye contact. Then go as follows:

Me: Excuse me, can I ask you something?
HB: Ummm okay.
Me: Why are you going to this club?
HB: (usually confused) What?
Me: (Confident) Why are you going to this club. I mean they're charging like 15 dollars to get in the door. And I can promise you, nobody in there is going to pay you more attention than I am willing to pay you right now. (Pause and check for response). So tell you what, let me get your phone number or an e-mail address so we can enjoy a conversation some other time. Is that cool?

7's and below eat it up. I know it goes against the rules. Can someone suggest a better opener with a quick close to use in my parking lot pimping. Usually I get a number before she gets to the door of the club.
Oh and I stole this line from Cee-lo of Goodie MOB. But he threw in "Can I interest you in a candle-lit breakfast at the waffle house." I have used IHOP instead. It usually gets a laugh. 4 times I got an immediate "Yes" and headed over to the nearest IHOP.

As far as the 9's and 10's and the 20% success rate goes... Are you sure you are treating them the exact same way you would treat say a 5? It is very hard to get over that bitch glare 9/10's have when approached. Sub-conciously you could be giving in to it?

This could be the subject of another post but i've noticed, some 9's or 10's have just as low confidence or self esteem as a girl who is a 3 or 4... Oh and the worst part is the inverse, the 3 who thinks she's a 10.5, I don't think I have a bigger pet peeve.
