ok so ive recently found out im addicted to sex(on my own) lol. so i thought thats the main reason ive joined pick up, watched so many videos, read so much matierial... im just wondering if there are more addicts out there? im only 15 so its pretty bad and seems to be having a negitive effect on me, making me slower, less energetic etc.

annnyway back to my main point try to give up masturbation for a month and see how it effects you. if you cant last past a week your most likely addicted any less than that and your deffiently. oh and if you are addicted watch out for withdrawral effects. no joke. lol, ive experianced anxiety, insomnia and headaches so far.. 5 days in.

im slowely starting to feel more enerjetic. if your addicted i think the recovery time is up to a month so good luck. even if your not i would suggest trying this to make yourself feel more enerjetic and feel positive effects. there are more benifits than this but im just mentioning the main ones, and if your physcologicly addicted it can help you get your head strait obviously.

and before you say its perfectly natural do it 100 times a day it wont hurt.. seriously consider what your saying and who is behind alot of the stories saying how benificial it is for you.. yeah the porn industry cant rememmber the exsact amount they make a year but im sure its over 250 billion. ok some of the stories may have thruths behind them so dont get me wrong. dopamine is involved in this like it is in any drug it seems.

tell me how your experiance goes if it effects you w.e. , be great to hear from you.

the ignorance of some people?: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index ... 442AA0Cc6H

please reasearch thourughly before deciding to have a go at me

Errrr....I think your making it out a bigger deal than it already is. Hell I haven't done it for like over a month. I never feel any real satisfaction after doing it, if anything it makes me depressed. I don't have much urges to do it, which I think is a good thing, because it's alot easier to say no to a girl and I have the upper hand when it comes to sex.

You have some valid thoughts there, but I think that making a self diagnosis like that is a poor choice. You don't have the knowledge to make that assessment and you may end up telling yourself you're addicted when in reality you just really like it and do it so much that your body and mind have gotten hooked on it. Real addiction is something far more insideous and not something sheer willpower alone can overcome.

The mind can trick us into thinking all sorts of things and by telling ourselves we are addicted to something, we sometimes develop many symtoms associated with it. I used to think I was addicted to it to, but really I just love getting off and so I did it so much that when I didn't jerk off for a few days, I would start to experience symptoms like the ones you described. It wasn't real addiction, my body just became used to it and changing messed with it.

I know you're probably gonna argue that I'm wrong and that you really are addicted and nothing I say will change your mind, but honestly you just don't have the expertise to make that assessment and you're actually making your life more difficult by telling yourself that you are addicted when you may or may not be.

i live breath eat and work for only one out come SEX! That's what we were designed to do. if things like having a nice car and house didn't matter to the opposite sex would we care? Not at all but they do so that's why money is so important in our society.

Not a big deal plus your young so your sexual drive is were it should be, just use protection, once you get good at the game you'll be fucking like a rock star, and your going to want to wake up with your goods still attached each morning

Yet again, I'm with Rye Lee on this one....

You're 15. Of course you love sexual pleasure. Wait until you've matured and then see if you still feel 'addicted'.

I'm not saying that this is a bad idea, but your self diagnosis may be a bit skewed...

also i feel im addicted because i have no controll whatsoever on the frequency i do it.
i know other addicts they all act very simular to how i used to and how i sometimes do today, slightly quieter than everyone else, just cant be bothered at most things if someone insults them they usualy sit there and take it rather than have to think a response back quickly, they act more primative using mainly body laungaudge to communicate and they also seem to resort to violence alot more! as i said i used to be the same but im correcting this consiously but it still seems to be lingering as the easyer thing to do so im not going to bother doing anything else and sometimes i slip into that feeling.

could you please describe what happened when you thought you were addicted maybe if you shared i would be able to consider what your saying alot more effectivly.
